I thought Wanyama had come out very recently to say he was very happy, not going anywhere, wants to stay there next season at least? I would have Hooper tomorrow, the only issue being it will take a very big fee, as we found out last time. He offers something different to Jay Rod and SRL. I dont know how happy he might be on the bench (and for a big fee, whether would be happy) but Hooper would address the concern that I have, when JR and SRL are on the pitch, as to who we can bring on to change things. I dont get too excited about Mayuka yet, and we dont have anyone else. Only if we dont land Lukaku though...

Interesting how many on here thought Sunderland would win pre-match. I assume based on their recent resurgence, but its very short lived and prior to that they have been awful and generally less threatening than Villa. We dont need to fear them at S o L, go for throat.

I have been to 4 games of theirs this season for various reasons and the support has been excellent. It has not wavered even when some of the on pitch peformances have been awful. Various commentators have said the same thing, including MOTD a few weeks back, drawing reference to Chelsea fans' negativity in comparison to Villa fans sticking with the manager and team 100%.

Villa a very young team and with support this season that puts us to shame. Just saying

No issue with aiming this high. I am sure there is realism within the club, but aim for it and see if we can end up with Europa, or a top 8 finish, and we would all be happy

Dont the lino and ref have a comms link (at least in the Prem?). I dont know why the lino did not flag, then say to ref it looked like handball, and the ref can say either fair enough, i missed it, or, no way, i saw it and there was no handball? Would take all of 5 seconds for the ref to decide. Or he could run over to the lino for a longer chat = 30 seconds.
