Agreed. At the end of the day, France were never behind and didn’t have to toil too much to score twice when they needed to. We can talk all we want about how we were the better team but that’s because we were trailing for the majority of the game and had to do something about it. I don’t think this was the close / unjust defeat that many are making out. At the end of the day, they stepped up to the mark and we didn’t.
