All these new contracts would have been better money, or better than the old league 1 contracts. Good for morale and keeps the squad a bit happier. I am sure he will figure and get his chance, as Connolly will not stay fit all season.

Saints and Pomp*y hate each other, they as us sing anti songs, it is all part of the great rivaly that we have with each other. I think the main factors here are.... 1) It was our first game in the same league as them for 6 years. 2) It was on Sky 3) We were spanking Leeds all over the place and some of the nation were watching. 4) We are on a great run and have a great feel good factor. It will die down once we have beaten them again and normal service resumes. I love the rivaly and think it is a very important part of being a football fan!!

What a great day, I have never remembered such a great start to the season since that 4-0 win over West Ham. I have celebrated and will have my tea made for me tomorrow by my ***** of a Leeds fan, and then we move on. What team will turn out against Barnsley? Could it be 8 in a row??

Not interested in the League Cup. Also keeping y feet well and truely on the floor. Yes we were pretty brilliant yesterday, but this is the confidence that comes in a new season after promotion, but will be interesting to see what happens after a sticky patch. We know we will not play like that all season. Mid table I would be happy with and push on for promotion next. Of course if we can keep it going I would only be to happy. FEET firmly on the ground, one game does not make a season. Celebrate until the next game and then back to business for the fans!!

I think this goes hand in hand with society being really peed off at the moment. Protests are more widely common under Tory government. Yes some of it has to do with the bloke that was shot by the police, but most will be society looking for a reason to show they are not happy with a lot of things at the moment.

We want to be back above them, we have been behind them for 7 years. I think that we did sing this song a lot, but it is a very loud and impressive song to sing. We sung many other songs and it was cracking today, all round I could not complain about anything!! FANTASTIC DAY.......even the programme!! lol
