Wonderful news, that is a fantastic start, and I think another 2 more at least before the start of the season, up front and at the back!

IF, and I say IF we do not make good signings, and we are in the bottom 3 at Christmas then I will be one of the first to complain (well apart from the 'supporters'that are complaining already), but then again hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it!

I will judge when the season starts, or at least during the rest of July. We could sign a couple of players in one day, and then another a few days later. I think the team are good enough for mid table as they are. I think 3 good signings could see us push for the playoffs. Lets not run before we can walk. Now watch the Norwich comments!! We could still do this of course, but to judge on July 5th really??!!

See everyone is jumping up in down about this one. I love this board!! I think we will make 2 or 3 top class signings which will see up mid table or even just above next season, and then build again! COYS!! Anyone jumped off the Itchen Bridge yet, as they cannot wait for the bloody shirt to come out....me I have been getting on with my life, some of you should try it by the looks of things!! Save your worrying in the season if required!!

I am a credit manager in fashion wholesale, and in the last 8 weeks I hae seen 10 sole traders/partnerships, shut up shop. Some of them have shuttered down and vanished and are being traced. Some of these traders order £5k and then clear off within weeks, others have been trading with us for years and have no gone to the wall. I have many calls a day and I know I have heard all the excuses for non payment, but was told the other day that one of our customer took £28 in the whole day. We do know it is tough out there for our customers and you really have to feel a little for them, and there is no real point going legal with them if they do not have the money. I have a few customers that we have gone legal with and gone all through the courts with legal fees and interest being added to their debt for them to be order to pay £50 a month or something sill like that. One of my legal customers have been paying £250 a month on a £14k debt!! I have been told that it is a good time to try and get a better deal with the leases at the moment as landlords are looking in some cases to just cover their basic costs, and at least just cover their repayments. This of course makes sence and some run on really short leases. It is really tough and it is really sad to see our customers struggle! Some of the things you hear from other do make me think that they should not be in business at all!!

I love the idea, but do not feel it needs a badge on it. It is pretty safe to say that in the Saints end of SMS it is going to be something to do with Saints!! Now lets get working on the In Nigel we trust one while we are at it!!

Brilliant, I have been looking for somewhere else and this seems the place for me. When a online fanzine/forum for Saints fans gets in bed with the club it is always going to turn stale.

I get all the information I need direct to my mobile from Twitter. Direct from the club an direct from sky sports news. Also that bloke who always seems to break the news about an hour before it comes onto the Saints site. So pretty much do not need this sort of site anymore.

This and the fact that many players are on holiday. When teams return to training then the real business starts again. I have no doubt having said this that strings are being pulled and fingers are in pies even at this stage. I really do think we have easily got a mid table team for next season with the team we have, and we will add 3 or 4 and perhaps hit the playoffs.

I like this one, as I am up in Manchester that week, so works out ok that... ok still about 80 miles but good.

Give the old bill more time to prep!

Strange last away game, at least I will get tickets!!!

Derby County away, Beattie own goal if I remember correctly. Beattie went to clear a corner and sliced it very high into the air, and Jones swung on his crossbar to signal it was going over and it dropped into the net. Time seemed to stand still. remember a game at the Dell v Man U and we won 1-0. God knows how he managed to keep out all the efforts, as our defence with all at sea. blinding save after save!! Loved Paul Jones, my favourite Saints and all time goalkeeper!

IF Davies goes to Brum then they will win the league. As much as I cannot stand Davies he has been really good at Forest who have been punching above their weight under him, and give him a club like Brum he will do really well and probably win the league.

This. I do this all the time down the pub (like a forum), during quiz nights, at football with friends (like this forum, but with friends), and also at work. I have to say I can still go to the pub, quiz nights, football with friends, and into work!!
