Fantastic, I cannot believe it after the start we had, and the run Huddersfield have been on. Can we have a joint club record with 6 straight wins come Saturday making the first game of the season record breaking!! I tell you what Walsall will be happy with today's score!!
-
I could cry, but I will not as I am a man... ha ha ha sod it I have never known us to be promoted this is a first!! I LOVE THE FEELING!!!

He seems to be quite lucky from the spot!

Well who would draw at home to Brentford, let alone lose to them!! Stanger things have happened, they drew at home to Swindon not so long ago, and we drew at home to Notts County. I agree that it is unlikely, but it could happen.
-
This is not true, if we draw tomorrow and lose to Walsall at home next Sat, and Huddersfield only draw at home to Brentford, the draw against Playmouth will be very important and gain us promotion! I think if we draw tomorrow against Plymouth we will beat Walsall on Saturday, but if we win against Plymouth then Walsall could turn us over on Saturday and get the result they need.
-
That is completely out of order and must have been something of a chinese whisper, I could not imagine any true Saints fan doing this to another on purpose and something I would not dream of doing at any time, far to important.
-
It was going to be on tv before it was re-arranged, but no it is not now. But hey the sky curse has now gone since we disatched Sheff Wednesday!
-
2 hours 15 and counting... 'It like the end of the world or something' This time in 4 hours 10 minutes we could be up!!

Right for the sake of passing time I have been through Brentford's home form since the turn of the year in ALL compititions. It is nothing to write home against, but they do not lose by many and seem quite tight at the back. Have only lost to the odd goal against Huddersfield and Brighton, but Wotton did score against them!! Saints away this year 2011 has not been to bad and over the season south of Brum we have been really good away from home with most of our defeats coming in the north, Carlise, and Rochdale, Huddersfield and Tranmere to name a few. Did ok in Oldham though. Brentford Home in 2011 Brentford 1-1 Colchester Brentford 0-1 Swindon Brentford 0-1 Carlisle Brentford 2-1 Carlisle Brentford 2-1 Leyton Orient Brentford 0-1 Huddersfield Brentford 0-1 Brighton Brentford 1-1 Notts County Brentford 1-0 Bristol Rovers Brentford 2-1 Tranmere Brentford 2-0 Plymouth Brentford 1-2 Yeovil Brentford 1-1 Exeter L Brentford 1-1 Exeter C Brentford 2-1 Dag & Red Won 6 Drawn 3 Lost 5 Goals for 16 goals against 14 Saints away in 2011 Brighton 1-2 Southampton Rochdale 2-0 Southampton Leyton Orient 0-2 Southampton Charlton 1-1 Southampton Bournemouth 1-3 Southampton Colchester 0-2 Southampton Walsall 1-0 Southampton Hartlepool 0-0 Southampton Peterborough 4-4 Southampton Exeter 1-2 Southampton Tranmere 2-0 Southampton Oldham 0-6 Southampton Dag & Red 1-3 Southampton Won 7 Drawn 3 Lost 3 Goals for 25 Goals against 14 South of Brum away games Bristol Rovers 0-4 Saints Swindon 1-0 Saints MK 2-0 Saints Yeovil 1-1 Saints Notts Co 1-3 Saints D&R 1-3 Saints Exeter 1-2 Saints Posh 4-4 Saints Colchester 0-2 Saints Boiurnemouth 1-3 Saints Charlton 1-1 Saints Leyton O 0-2 Saints Brighton 1-2 Saints Played 13 Won 8 Drawn 3 Lost 2 Saints north of Brum including Walsall Sheff W 0-2 Saints Huddersfield 2-0 Saints Carlisle 3-2 Saints Oldham 0-6 Saints Tranmere 2-0 Saints Hartlepool 0-0 Saints Walsall 1-0 Saints Rochdale 2-0 Saints Played 8 Won 2 Drawn 1 Lost 5 So in summary I am glad the two away games are south games, and is it kick off yet???

Woomp there it is. I have been singing it for years. Theses 4 words mean I'm getting busy woomp there it is!! Also it takes two. It takes 2 to make a thing so right, it takes 2 to make it out of sight. I am stupid I mean outragious stay away from me I think it's contagious!!! Please help me!!

If we go up, he will come back I have no doubt. I love him as a player for Southampton back in the day, but I am not sure if it would be a good move, but sure if he stayed fit he could do a job for us in the Championship.
-
Bonus game if the scores I have predicted come in. I think we will draw that one too.
-
Come people put my mind at ease. I really cannot call the game tomorrow, but what do you think the score will be in both games. I am sitting on the fence a bit with the below. Brentford 1-1 Saints Brighton 2-2 Huddersfield This of course will be good enough I feel as we will beat Walsall surely!! As mentioned before I cannot see us winning 6 straight games from the Bristol Rovers game.
-
Thedelldays, I value your opinion and you are normally pretty much spot on. Do you think we will win tomorrow and what do you think about Huddersfields chances chances at Brighton. I just cannot call the 2 games at all, but would settle for a draw in each, but do not think I could take the last few minutes knowing a goal could go either way in both games!!
-
I am really nervous, but think we will go up, and enjoying it. This is football at it's best and what I love about the game.
-
I used to work in Havant and had the same problem for a couple of years. My car looks like saints have thrown up on it. I do not think I should take the stuff out, I am a Saints fan and that is that. I still leave it in the car when I go to away games. Parked in a well dodgy estate in Rochdale, but saying this I WOULD take it out if I had to drive to a game a Fratton!! Outside of football I would keep it in the car if I every felt the need to go to Skatetown to shop!! The people that did this are filth!!!
-
Home - Rochdale Away - Rochdale Please do not let us have to play them again next season!! Seriously for games I have been to Oldham Home was a good turn around Colchester away just to beat them!!
-
You really do not want me to list them do you?
-
I bloody hope so, all I do is look at the league table, I cannot think of anything else. If we win and Brighton beat Huddersfield I will not care about the 6 match winning streak quite as much!! lol.

Man City - Beating them at Maine Road last game there Spurs - We thought we were a bigger and better club than them back in the early 2000's - Lowe mouthing off, getting Hoddle sacked gloat gloat gloat Liverpool - 0-3 down with 15 left to 3-3 Bolton - Barry Horne 94th minute! Newcastle - Always beat them at the Dell and could not work out why!! Another great comeback game with minutes left at the Dell. Sunderland - Won 0-1 in a relegation battle in their last floodlite game at Roker Park Wolves - 0-6 lol Nottingham Forest - In their relegation season we had a 6 pointer and we were 1-0 down, they had a goal ruled out for no real reason and super micky evans I think got a brace and we won 1-3 and pretty much turned our season on it's head. Leicester - Matty's first hat-trick, at the Dell Watford - FA Cup Semi Final heartbreak! Pompey - Weirdos Coventry - Did not like it when they got relegated from top flight and Little Southampton where the 'small club' staying up against all odds. Crystal Palace - Last minute leveller that really put a stop on them staying up in the season we both dropped through the trap door! It still hurts them badly! Sheffield United - We drew at West Ham and stayed up on the last day, they let in a late goal at Chelsea. We meet around London for the rest of the evening!! Scun-thrope - nicked their manager they debate if we are a bigger club than them!! lol Brighton - They think they are the bigger club Hmmm, but acted small time should have just let the title do the talking! Huddersfield - We are holding onto the 2nd spot even though they have gone on the best unbeaten run in their clubs history!! Bournemouth - Think they are our big rivals now?? MK Dons - Well I ****ing hate them ******s more than I can say! Rochdale - They love us lol, but also hate us because we are a big club, and they really wish they were us. Exeter - South coast thing Charlton SOme railway station thing! Hartlepool - Cannot beat us at our place! Yeovil - Some South Coast thing! Notts County - pinched Blackstock and Best Walsall - Relegated them 2011. Dagenham and Redbridge - Stole their style of play! Bristol Rovers - stole Lambert for a mill Plymouth - Some South Coast thing Accrington Stanley - Who are they? Torquay - Some south coast thing (I like them) Aldershot - One team in Hampshire Northampton - Stuart Gray or was it Wigley!! Stockport County Hated us for about a week when we levelled in the quarter final of the league cup that their place only to **** it up at home. After going through the list I do not think many hate us, and if they do it is because we are the bigger club in our league, so everyone wants to beat us and hates us. As soon as we are out of the way they will all soon forget. I think you lot smoke to much weed....EVERYONE HATES US!!! lol.

I used to have a tea/coffee mug back in the day which had our 'achievements' on them, the promotion years in the 60's and 70's, the FA Cup win in 76, and league runners up. Also it had most league wins in a row, and it was 6 back in the 60's. I got this mug in about 1987, and since then we have matched this fate in 1992 (I think when we won 6 in a row and then lost to Forest at home 1-2 when Matty missed a pen). I have been keeping an eye on this ever since and we only ever seem to win 4 in a row at any one time without a draw and this includes the last two seasons. We have now beaten Bristol Rovers, Brighton, and Hartlepool, so 3 in a row. Now if we go on the form of us not being able to even match the 6 wins in a row since 1992 I do not expect us to go until the end of the season without dropping points in a game. I think we will drop points against Brentford or Plymouth, and I am hoping it is Plymouth, but of course if this is the case I would prefer us to drop points on the last day of the season when we are already up. I do not mean to be the doom and gloom person but I cannot see us winning 6 in a row, but if we do we will have to put another bad record to bed to break the club record and that is win the first game of next season!!! COYS!!!!

KD is a fantastic keeper at this level, yes he makes mistakes but ALL keepers do and even more so in League 1. I would say overall he makes up for a few errors, but errors are noticed more. Well done keeps and that back 4!!
