Probably have but they are only playing Brentford! To be fair I think they want to continue their fantastic run going. I think Huddersfield have shown some true class in the whole second place battle, unlike the champions! -

I heard that he was fit, but do find it stange why he would play today? Perhaps he really wants to play?

WGS, no doubt.

Do we get presented with a Trophy today? Just heard that Norwich are getting ready for their runners up trophy presentation? Would be nice, two seasons, and two trophies!!
-
As many of us cannot go to the the game today for whatever reason, please get as many photo's and video clips of the build up of today's, and tomorrows game, during the games and after game celebrations. I though it would be nice to have posts of it all on one thread. EI,EI,EI,O up the football league we go!! COYS!!!

Close season is a double wammy for me, not football on Saturdays and no reffing on Sunday's. So I miss out on my complete football fix. I will be looking for as much as possible to get my finances back on track, and then buying the new kit (have to treat yourself sometimes), and then the fixture list. I really want to get to more games next season but will depend again on the old finances!! I will keep myself busy though, and go out with the family more.

I live in Royston and the cycle shop in town is owned by a Saints fan, and there are a few dotted around the area. One posts on here who lives up the road from me in melbourn Doctor on call which is weird as I have Dr in my user name to.

Uh? They are as it stands at the moment. I want them to play MK Dons and then I will go along and give the Udders a shout!! -
I am going on the pitch. Then clear the pitch and then the players can come out and give us a wave..... or they can do that the next bloody day!!

What's your very first memory of a Saints game?
Dr Who? replied to sussexsaint's topic in The Saints
First game at The Dell I went to was Saints 0-4 Everton and Graham Sharpe scored ALL 4. I was in the bench seats in the east stand October 3rd 1987, and I was hooked. 3 months later I went to my second game a 0-2 home defeat by the blue few down the road, I did not understand why everyone was so angry!! -

That goal scored by Heath, I was at my grans house in the kitchen when the goal went in. I was 10. Do not think I have an earlier memory of Saints than this, but I remember the FA Cup final Man U v Brighton 1983 so the year earlier than Saints Memory and the forst world cup I remember was 1986. So think I really started getting into football and remembering it from 1985 and started seriously supporting Saints in 1988/89 when I went to every home game at the age of 13. It is quite interesting as my daughter is 9 and I am starting to lose heart as she says she supports Saints but also Arsenal and Man U. This really pees me off, as I would prefer her to support Cambridge or Stevenage (as we live in Royston) her local side if it is not going to be Saints. But perhaps I have a few years to get her hooked yet!! Also as we are on the up, it might be easier! -
Unless you are playing 'Plymouth'!!

Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up
