This and the fact that many players are on holiday. When teams return to training then the real business starts again. I have no doubt having said this that strings are being pulled and fingers are in pies even at this stage. I really do think we have easily got a mid table team for next season with the team we have, and we will add 3 or 4 and perhaps hit the playoffs.

I like this one, as I am up in Manchester that week, so works out ok that... ok still about 80 miles but good.

Derby County away, Beattie own goal if I remember correctly. Beattie went to clear a corner and sliced it very high into the air, and Jones swung on his crossbar to signal it was going over and it dropped into the net. Time seemed to stand still. remember a game at the Dell v Man U and we won 1-0. God knows how he managed to keep out all the efforts, as our defence with all at sea. blinding save after save!! Loved Paul Jones, my favourite Saints and all time goalkeeper!

IF Davies goes to Brum then they will win the league. As much as I cannot stand Davies he has been really good at Forest who have been punching above their weight under him, and give him a club like Brum he will do really well and probably win the league.

This. I do this all the time down the pub (like a forum), during quiz nights, at football with friends (like this forum, but with friends), and also at work. I have to say I can still go to the pub, quiz nights, football with friends, and into work!!

We just need to focus on what we are doing and not worry about others. Will be many more changes during the season too.

Yes you can see all the IP addresses, I have my own forum where quite a few people have serveral logins, some sadly enough have a little chat with well just them. Most of the posts are pointless but I have not had to ban anyone and do not want to either.

The admin on here are a joke. Get above their station. IF it was offensive what Deppo had said I could understand, but being funny, really? Some on here are just jealous that someone can be just plain funny, and have a great sense of humour, where others remain unpunished when they are just making an argument for the sake of it, when all I can see they are trying to do is get peoples backs up over and over again. Some on here need to get a life and that goes right to the top I am afriad. This is a forum which if I am not mistaken avolved from the fanzines that were out there in paper copies back in the 80's and 90's. This place is just not funny anymore and full of people that just want to have a pop at their fellow Saints fans, just to get their kicks!!
