Yes and not only that it’s the wages. What we do not want to do is unsettle overs over one big signing. I feel this will be the problem at Newcastle by paying big money for a few players, splashing the cash and upsetting the squad. If we do it clever and slowly we could build something pretty good. I thought we lost our way a little bit in the first half, and to be fair they played some good stuff. 4-1 is a great result but probably a bit flattering, but we deserved the win. We have played better in many other games and got sod all. All good to build momentum for a tough few weeks 😃 COYR!

I know 3 Villa fans, one is my neighbour and they all slate him! He was great in their championship season.

Was talking to an Arsenal and Cambridge fan about our game today (so I was somewhere in the middle), and they pick him out as being poor. One of them is a coach at Carlisle Utd. On another note they were say that with 10 men for that long we looked like the team with 11 against 10. but the Cambridge fan seemed to be floating around 😂

This is domestic football. The club should have someone on the Saints woman's team media page and do the updates as and when. When they have a game send someone with the club to update their Twitter page, like the other Southampton team not connected to a professional football club. It is not like we do not have the resources. it annoys me on the BBC when you cannot click on a score line from Scotland/Italy/Netherlands and it does not give you the option of going onto the game to see when the goals were scored and by who. This is after all 2022, it’s not like we do not have the means.

We have a run of tough games after the Brentford game. I would prefer to get another 3 points on the board before the run we have coming up.

The coverage is poor. You will see some posts earlier on in this thread. During the game you have no idea what is going, and you only get the final score about an hour after the game. The other Saints woman's team have Twitter updates during the game.
