Beginning to get into this game now. A goal please!
-
No one has looked like scoring. In come the first effort, just as I posted!
-
How often have we fallen to pieces this season? City home? Taken apart by a team that clicked on the day!
-
No shots 20 minutes, from either side. There goes 2 goals in the first 15 then!
-
But no shots. Spurs can hold the ball well, as can we. They just seem to have more of a cutting edge, if you take out the Burnley and Villa game. I would not be surprised with a 0-0 or someone to win 1-0. There is not to much between the styles of the two teams, they just have a top strike, which could be the difference at the end of the day.
-
They have a lot of filling to do. It also seems to be their pet hate, for some reason! They seem to forget that they are talking about football fans in a very passionate sport.
-
To be fair the finish 5th or 6th outweighs the wanting to get one over on Poch, but would still be nice. I just do not want to miss out on Europe after the great season we have had.
-
Couple of goals from Saints in the first 15 would be great.....
-
I would have thought the creativeness of Tadic would suit this game?
-
Spider-Man for me.
-
17, very poor.

Stewards stand down, is a announcement that is heard quite a lot at games. You can tell I am nervous as I am chatting more ****e that normal!
-
I do not normally get nervous about games. The last time would be the skates home game and Coventry. These were just a couple of games apart as well.

Orange is not really a colour that people have ready available in their wardrobe. A little more time and the club could have provided orange t shirts and left them on the seats.
-
It does have a feel of a very big game. Win and we are only 2 points above Spurs, but lose could be the end of our dream, with an away game next and Spurs at home. But it is Man City.
-
A win today would be huge.... Follow this up with a win at the stadium of light next weekend and we will be in a very strong position.

Saturday April 26th 1902 - Southampton lost their FA Cup final replay to Sheffield United 2-1 after a 1-1 draw in the first game. That is all. 25th and 1st were the busiest
-
Today 25th April, seems to be a big day in the history of Southampton Football Club. Today could be as well, if we want to finish in the top 6. Wednesday April 25th 2007 - Saints fans were mourning the death of Alan Ball, who died of a heart attack after trying to put a bonfire out in his garden. The manager who got the best out of Le Tissier for sure. RIP. Saturday April 25th 2009 - Saints were already relegated to league One, but the 2-2 draw at home to Burnley did mean that we were relegated without the 10 point deduction. This was carried over to the next season were Saints started their league one campaign on minus 10. Tuesday April 25th 1978 - By a curious quirk of fate Saints clinched promotion to the top flight, by coming from behind to draw at Orient - just as they had done in 1966. And again the equaliser came from a header, this time from Tony Funnell. Again promotion was all but mathematically secure barring a total freakish set of results. Saturday April 25th 2015 - Saints v Spurs - hopefully we will be able to fill this in with something positive to square up the positive to negative dates in history?
-
Córdoba 0 - 1 Ath Bilbao Closed the gap to 7th.

Is this only on BT?
-
You carry on being consistent and one day you will be right. That day you can say, I told you so! Ha ha
-
First time I have been able to get on here tonight and on cup final day!
-
I'm getting a terrible sinking feeling and have doubt, for the first time in a long time. I blame today's results and us throwing away a 0-1 lead. Just throught of ending with nothing, in our best premier league finish ever, will hurt.... A lot.
