  1. Why would you want to be taller? You must be fairly big already if you're able to fill a skip. Though why you'd want to stay in it all weekend puzzles me somewhat.
  2. Anyone know if there's any way of getting it to make the default search engine google.co.uk and not google.com? It's not essential, but is mildly irritating having to change it manually.
  3. Non-delivery on the required day, cancelled the order and bought from another supplier, howver they didn't cancel the Buy Now Pay in 9 Months credit. Letters turned up to settle, told them I'd cancelled months ago, nearly got taken to court over it all before they finally realised they'd screwed up. Pillocks.
  4. Don't buy from Laptops Direct. Incredibly bad experience with them and poor customer service. Tossers.
  5. Tonight: Meal at The Malvern for sister-in-law birthday. Saturday: Work 10:00 - 2:00, housey stuff, no other plans Sunday: Continue with mass clearance of ****-tip called home. Exciting. Not.
  6. I'd normally have spent a good few hundred pounds by now, and haven't bought a sausage in there since Rupert has been back. (Not that they sell sausages, but you get my drift.)
  7. I was really disappointed with Cajun Squirrel. Onion Bhaji all they way.
  8. Stunningly, I knew nothing about this until one of my staff came in this morning. Scary stuff.
  9. I have just finished uploading some photos onto Facebook, and now I'm off to bed. Night.
  10. I am watching Hollyoaks, having just finished my dinner.
  11. Confirmed now on SSN. Why couldn't they have waited until he relegated the beggars? Damn inconsiderate if you ask me.
  12. To all those regulars who missed the Norwich game - unlucky. We won because I was there for the first time this season. Another win just might make me buy a season ticket again. Or maybe not.
  13. You're welcome.
  14. Friday: Dad's birthday, round to my parents house for some nosh. Saturday: In the absence of a day on the **** in Watford, I shall now be going shopping for some appropriate interview wear for next Friday, and beginning to demolish my bathroom. Sunday: Dim sum at Port Solent with friends, then back to the bathroom madness.
  15. London Road in town. Well known stationery supplier that isn't WH Smith or Staples.
  16. What's occurring? Does postponed game = no fred?
  17. Anyone in retail looking for a management role? Deputy manager at our place is leaving next week.
  18. Meh. I wanted my ****ed-up footy weekend. Buggers.
  19. We mentioned leaflets/cards to hold up in t'other thread, either inside stadium or on the march, similar to the "Lowe Out" jobbies we had a couple of years back. Colour Company are doing 5000 double sided colour A6 leaflets (basically the same size as the ones we had before) for £75. Bloody bargain, if I do say so myself. (And no, I don't work for them, or get anything from them!) If a few people are willing to chip in on cost, I think it's more than worthwhile. If we can get something effective knocked up over the next week, I can sort out getting them printed, and act as a distribution point for those who could volunteer to give 'em out.
  20. Hmm, could use that on the cards we are considering getting printed for the Preston match!
  21. Colour Company by my office seem to have some good deals on. Was going to suggest getting some more "Lowe Out" cards done, maybe "Lowe and Wilde Out" or summat this time. I'll double check the great bloody offer poster they've got in their window tomorrow.
  22. Two thoughts I had after yesterday: If doing a second march (maybe leave it a month or so, so it doesn't lose it's effectiveness) once arriving at SMS, do a "lap" around the stadium for a bit more attention to others, then congregate outside the main entrance for a bit. Mass sit-in after the game - been thinking about this for a while now - and those that don't go to the games get their backsides down to SMS for the final whistle and get in there too. Get everyone to move round to the Itchen stand, so we're as close to the directors/suites as we can be. Could be fun. Sit-in for Preston, second march for QPR?
  23. Tonight: Finish work at 15:40, home to change, drive to Nottingham with hubby and good friend for a 40th birthday party, which aforementioned good friend is performing at. Get drunk, fall into bed. Saturday: Have breakfast, drive home, go and have a nosey at what's happening with this protest thing, go to pub during game, back to SMS for post-match protest, home to change, meal at Kachina for another birthday, drinkies at The Hobbit. Sunday: Still hungover. Do nothing.
