  1. You keep saying "look at the big picture". Surely the "big picture" includes both home and away form? Last night was a disappointing result, but we could just have easily have won 1-0 as lost 1-0. The "big picture" I look at is called the league table. We're still top. Stop worrying about what might happen get behind the team and see what does happen. COYS.
  2. What a load of bow-locks. I assume from your comments you weren't at the game? Theywere totally up for it, but one goal wa always going to win it second half, they got the break, we didn't. Your second sentence illustrates you've lost the plot (if you ever had it) - need you be reminded we are top of the league, an that was our first defeat at home in 2011? Wibble.

  4. In fairness, he did say "No" emphatically when asked if he was happy with that. Keown was the co-commentator I believe.
  5. Two points dropped given the position we got ourselves in. Infuriating. P*mpey offered next to nothing second half. Might have taken a draw pre-match, but that is definitely 2 points dropped against a mediocre team. Still, top of the league, and one point clear - it could be worse!
  6. Awful game, started nervously and got worse for him but we don't scapegoat our own - win, lose and draw together as one. Per NA's comments we should support and encourage him. That said, I do expect even a 90% fit KD to play next weekend. COYS!

Actually, I did think Paine's Voiceover was a bit over the top. BC deserved to win, no doubt, but even the City fans I spoke to after said they thought we might nick a point given the possession we had before they scored the second (though in truth we never looked like doing much with that possession). Anyway, it's over now. Line drawn under it and we move on to Hull. Together as one!
  9. Poor display all round, but credit to BCFC, they got at us and knocked us out of our rhythm. Deserved win for them (though just before the second was thinking we might nick a point). As NA says, we don't get too carried away after a win, or too down after a loss. Onto Tuesday. Together as one!
  10. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Bye bye Taricco. Will give Poyet something to whinge about and blame now.
  11. Contact of mine from the club rates him "as least as good as Bale" (at comparative ages). Looking forward to seeing him. Good game to blood him in, no real pressure.
  12. Great video. Our end looks fantastic, deafening noise too.
  13. Thought Connolly was superb vs WHU - worked his socks off - and has been in most games. Need his guile and experience. Wasn't great yesterday, but few were - also he didn't get any service as we lost the midfield battle. SDR was exactly what we needed as an impact player, and got us out of jail. Reckon he'll start Tues, but NA will revert to RL-DC on Sat.
  14. Welcome back our little ray of sunshine. I was worried about you after your almost positive post-WHU comments, but all is well again now I see...
  15. Mainly looking grumpy and/or sleeping!
  16. On train back to London. Few WH around. Great result, great performance - Jos, Fox, Deano, Chaplow, Connolly stood out for me, top effort all-round though. Don't even mind the dry train, well, not much...
  17. Too much negativity on here guys. They may well be our toughest test yet, but we are theirs too. 5 home games, 5 wins, 15 goals scored. A packed fortress St. Mary's, we can do it, we will do it - Come On You Saints!!
  18. Waited around to see them last night, and again for an hour or so this morning. Nothing. At least we got mentioned on R5L tonight. Claridge said he got stick yesterday at the match for never mentioning us on TFLS.
  19. One footnote to the Leicester game, which may have been mentioned before, but did anyone notice how far away the bloody referee was for their third? - watch it again. No way he could have seen the foul on Lambert. I know Adkins is not one for whinging (which I like), but thought he might have mentioned that. Awful piece of refereeing.
  20. Sounds like we threw the kitchen sink at them second half and deserved a draw. Shame to see th 100% and unbeaten record go, but in some ways may help us pressure-wise. We know we're good enough to be in the frame for promotion this season. Brighton and Poyet will no doubt be cocky as hell about being top and unbeaten...
  21. Pathetically fickle fans, and a small ramshackle club. Also noticed Blackpools gates have halved. Clearly lots of JCL's last year.
  22. Sensational win - despite the early 2nd half wobble. Some of the forward interplay was superb. Morgans chipped pass for the fourth was sublime. COYS!
  23. So, essentially you want us to wear the Stoke kit, rather than the Saints kit?!?
  24. Agreed. The absolute winner, without a doubt. End the thread now and start singing.
  25. Like it. Or how about even further back, and a nod to a great classically versatile Player of the past, Nick Holmes (to the tune of The Blue Danube) La la la la la Jack Cork, Jack Cork La la la la la Jack Cork, Jack Cork (ad infin)
