  1. Saints have 13 pts from the last 15 pts and now very 3 winnable home games v Oldham, Carlisle & Southend with away trip to Gillingham. Huddersfield to play Stockport (A) Colchester (H) and Exeter (A) The dream continues.
  2. Jobcentre? Well done Saints ...... thanks Papa and Barnard
  3. Tend to agree - critical win for H'field v Millwall. If Saints draw v Yeovil then H'field need just 3 pts from 3 games to get 6th.
  4. Lucky Jose - if it was red then season over.
  5. No, he's a naughty, naughty boy!
  6. 2 reds this season for spiderman - some people never learn.
  7. Probably meant club games
  8. Great recollection of a dire bunch -but you ommitted Neil McCant
  9. Huddersfield and Colchester will see this score and wet themselves.
  10. 3 - 1 Spiderman
  11. Saints winning 2-1, bizarre.
  12. About 28 minutes - he's just said it.
  13. GD worth a point against all the teams above and around us. Could be critical.
  14. How long before Dave M says Saints must keep theirconcentration?
  15. Good point.
  16. Lallana goal - winning mentality
  17. I support my team win or lose. I go to match hoping my support will help them win. If they are losing then they need my support even more. Always stay 'til the final whistle.
  18. Spot on. Some examples of why I never leave before final whistle: 3 Apr 1963 FA Cup Round 6 replay: Saints losing 3-0 at home to Forest with 16 minutes remaining. Goals from Kirby, OG and Burnside made the final score 3-3 and Saints won the second replay on neutral ground (Spurs) 5-0. 14 Nov 1967 Division 1 Saints playing at home to Leicester on a rainy and windy day and losing 1-4; and I was on my way out when Peter Shilton (Leicester goalkeeper) scored a 5th goal for Leicester after 89 minutes. Not often you get to see a goalie score and I missed it. 1999 European Cup Final and ManU losing 1-0 to to Bayern after 90 minutes. I know ManU fans who left at that point and missed seeing their team win 2-1.
  19. He is a cheating diver - thankfully the Ref at Wembley sussed him out early on.
  20. Agreed - silly thread.
  21. Difficult to choose between: Lambert - involved in every goal and frightened the Carlise defence Antonio - ditto Fonte - did his own job superbly and got others out of trouble a few times
  22. Spot on. Durham is stupidly provocative just to get idiots phoning up to challenge him - as is Parry. Irani is dire. Collymore is in love with himself. Only one who talks sensibly is Ray Houghton.
  23. Back on course - great result. Now the same v Hartlepool on Tuesday. Well done Saints, AP and RL goal machine.
