Spot on. I don't like him but like has nothing to with it. What we need is someone who isn't the players best mate and is the boss, someone who commands respect from the players... someone a bit like, ooh er, Nigel Pearson... But he really should keep his gob shut when it comes to thoughtles comments about the fans. I don't give a sh1t about the fans, I don't pay good money to go and watch the fans, I pay to watch his team. Get your house in order and then comment about the fans, who incidently have put up with more cr@p then any fan should ever have to put up with. Right now he's getting his house in order. Jan, half the time I reckon some people on here wouldn't recognise a Saints footballer if they kicked them in the balls. Once the results improve, and I think they will under Wotte, then we'll all start talking football again.

What came first, the chicken or the egg? The protest about Wotte or the comments Wotte made about the protest? The first protest was most definitely about Lowe, not Wotte. The second one Wotte's name most definitely came to the fore for his ill time comments about the young protestors. Not having a pop Nick but it seems that some people get more heated about some bloody demonstration than the very serious mis-management of this club over the last five years.

Why are people leaping on the Wotte banner? The moment Wotte made those disparaging, ill thought comments about Connor and other fans like him, he became a target for their anger... and quite rightly so. Maybe, just maybe, the "Wotte notta clue" might refer to his views on fans as opposed to his tactics or football acumen? Or does that not fit in with people's anti demonstration agenda?

Well ask yourself who thought of Rupert Lowe as a premier league chairman ten years ago? You obviously don't require experience to be a chairman and as there's a recession out there, we're not stuck for well qualified applicants. Put an ad in the FT and see how many superbly qualified people apply.. you'd be stunned...

Which brings us back full circle to that ****. At a time when unity is needed he comes up with diversifying crap like that... What stuns me is that some people on here see no problem with it. The very sentiment at the heart of it is fine... "Get behind the team" The execution is disasterous. Crass, heavy handed and condescending.. Yep, you can imagine Lowe handing it to him directly...

And be accused of being either a) An Uberfan? or b) One of the usual suspects? It's a freshing change to see someone new....

Then hopefully the fact that whilst all the so called influential fans do nothing, one young lad shames us by getting up off his arse and doing something. No ones saying stay away from St Marys or boycott the club but surely somehow people have got to be able to show their complete and utter despair at the how shambolically this club's run...

Bern, if you can't even be bothered to go to game how can you sit there and slag off a young lad who seems to have more guts and drive than you and several other posters, could ever muster? How can you slag young Connor off and then have the sheer nerve to ask people to show some positive energy??? Someone did and you sit in your armchair and slag him off! Unbelievable! If you choose to have a swipe at the lad don't get all prissy if someone asks questions of you....

2 other things, Are you saying full vocal support will help this useless bunch then? And off course full houses made such a difference in the past didn't it? That money was so well utilised in the past wasn't it? Do we want to see more money paid off to executives who incompetance put us near administration the first place? I'm not getting into a slanging match with you Torres as you're one of the posters whose opinion I rate but this thread is rapidly descending into farce. At the end of the day Wotte's comments are ill timed and insensitive and totally the last thing you need right now in regards to unity. People are reacting and I feel they're justified to be ****ed off. It's not the end of the world but it's bloody annoying... This whole thread is made up of people ridiculing protestors saying protests won't make a blind bit of difference whilst saying that turning up at games, singing and shouting will save the day and everything in the garden will be rosy as long as we believe. Yes money through the gates helps, I'll be going and always will, but paying money and attending games hasn't helped us so far has it? Our support has fallen on deaf ears and our money has been wasted on payoffs for the numerous managers we've gone through and the numerous players we've bought for a million quid and then given away for nothing. And we wonder why supporters feel jaded? In the meantime one young lad tries something and we get *****s like Jonah writing off his efforts as he's young and inexperienced. If I want to know how stock and shares are doing I'll ask Jonah, if I want to know something about football I'll go elsewhere as he's just a fecking accountant with a football ticket. No doubt he was an unpopular kid who did most of his PE in school in his underwear and now ingratiates himself people talking about "the footie last night." Ask him about his football playing career; My money's on his career peaking with Sensible Soccer...

Whereas turning up, singing songs and paying money will save the day... You couldn't make this crap up.... seriously.... Comedy gold...
