  1. No, the point is you can't address my points or Um's or any other poster that questions Rupert Lowe. In the meantime, you hide behind this apparent hysteria that upsets you so much. But we all know you can't answer it and your continual avoidance just shows you don't have the intelligence to do so. You want serial negativity? Try moaning about Chris bloody Lucketti to score points against Pearson and Crouch. That's far more pathetic and pedantic than anything the anti Lowe posters could come up with. And again you post your opinion, ad infinitum, ad nauseum but you seem to have a little problem with the word debate... With debate, you have to provide answers when someone questions your opinion and that's something you just don't/can't do. Instead we get a very verbose reply that goes round and round in circles but says nothing. See the above? Over a hundred words that says nothing, absolutely Nothing... For instance... Is this even English? Or did you cut and paste it without really checking it? This whole thread shows you as the rather dull, one trick, pro Lowe wind up artist more and more people know you to be. SundanceBeast or this new improved family friendly version, you're still saying absolutely nothing and taking 500 words to do so. Defending the indefensible, trying desperatley to deflect attention away from Lowe by blaming anyone other than Lowe himself. Chris Lucketti now... FFS... At what stage will you ever blame the man who will very possibly be responsible for TWO relegations... So please, feel free to mock my intelligence or paint me as some angry, obsessed anti Lowe thug but the sad truth is that you offer nothing to this debate, absolutely nothing. Your points are flawed, your logic is non existent and your obsession with Lowe's plus points is disturbing and worthy of mockery as a pr plant. In other words, until you even begin to address issues other than your own vanity or self importance then frankly, you're just not worth a ****... And if you can't answer a point then please, just don't bloody well bother.... (yawn)
  2. Again, not one point answered... They happened, ergo they are facts... You can't argue with them and guess what? You don't as you know that as soon as you attempt to answer them you whole pro Lowe ethos falls apart.. Sorry but your credance on this messageboard goes down day after day after day. You won't address the points as you have no answer whatsoever. Ten years of Rupert Lowe, Twelve managers... One relegation under him, another seemingly on it's way... For crying out load, wake up and smell the coffee. Whilst you whinge and ***** and snipe at a decent manager and a chairman who was in charge for all of four, five months, this club is facing absolute ruin. A ruination sandwich by Ruport Lowe, with a filling of Michael "Mike" Wilde. The more you drone on and on about Crouch and Pearson, who account for five barely months of this club's history and support a man whose ten year years at this club have seen us slip from top tier survivors to League One wannabes, the more we write off your opinion as being agenda drivel bullsheet... You have no answers, you have credance and most importantly, you have no idea...
  3. So you know nothing and are assuming everything. You say Pearson wasn't worth the risk, but Poortvielt was? He must have been as he replaced Pearson. In fact your whole argument on this entire thread is based on absolutely factless nonsense. Possible smokecreens from Crouch... Possible better signings than Lucketti... The sort of manager you think Pearson will be rather than the type of manager the stats say he is... The sort of players you think the youth team lads will be rather than what they actually are... It's based on ifs whats and maybes with you, dressed up with a pretty ink bow and paraded as the truth when they are so far away from it as being laughable... Fact: Pearson is proving to be a better manager than Poortvielt Fact: The youth above all else experiment has failed and put us perilously close to relegation Fact: A fair portion of the players brought in by Portvielt, bar Siejs have proved to be useless. Fact:Lowe's great experiment has proved to be a disaster and we're now reliant on great experiment number two to pull us out of the ****e. He is the twelfth manager in ten years under Lowe... In the meantime, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you could refrain from slagging off Pearson and try to concentrate on the point at hand... THE MESS THAT RUPERT LOWE HAS CREATED...
  4. Jeez, do you even think before you try to be controversial??....
  5. Laughable, absolutely laughable. So if Wotte signs a vital player from Forrest, he contributes greatly to the campaign but is inelligible to play at Forrest, that, by your logic, would be a ridiculous signing??? Are people so sad, so pathetic, so desperate to pin something against Crouch that they'll continually slate Pearson for no reason whatsoever??? So Chris Lucketti was a ridiculous signing? Just shows how very little you know about football. You want ridiculous? How about any one of the numerous useless players that Poortvielt brought in, played once or twice and then sent back to their home clubs? How about Gasmi? Pulis? Pekhart?? Robertson??? And you slate Pearson for Lucketti??? Pitiful, absolutely pitiful... Not one poster on here thinks Pearson was the next Alex Ferguson but he had potential. A darn sight more than the man who replaced him. He'll cut his teeth in league 1 and the Championship next season and show himself to be quite a good manager indeed and it's definitely our loss that he'll prove his worth at a club other than Saints. Our loss sadly.... Now ****ing grow up and leave the man alone...
  6. Not a question of Anti Lowe or Anti Crouch, Nick as it was me who took offence first time round. Point is that people take things so very seriously on here and using the word cancerous when refering to an old man who you feel may or may not earn too much or the chairman of a bloody football club just shows how het up some people get over nothing. Is cancerous a legitimate word to used? Of course it bloody is. Is it applicable to small dramas played out on this messageboard? No, not really. Some people really need to get out more...
  7. Spot on Wes. Have people completely forgotten Wilde's role in our financial plight?? Or is Crouch the worst businessman in history bringing the club to itskness is just four months??? I am, though, heartily sick and tired of the likes of Sundance continually digging and digging at Pearson. It's really quite unpleasant the way a decent man has been maligned and slated just because he's a Crouch signing. I do love the way though, that Sundance perpetuates the "Ducth" myth and that the "Dutch Revolution" is still on track merely because the new manager is Dutch. So did we have a Scottish revolution when we had Strachan and Burley as managers?? A born again christian revolution when we employed Hoddle? To say that Wotte is an exponent of the "Dutch revolution" is laughable as if anything he's more akin to a traditional 442 than anything Poortvielt came up with.. At the end of the day, Pearson was, if anything, more a Rupert Lowe managerial appointment than Poortvielt ever was. A young, aspiring English manager with loads of experience with young players, a fact that the likes of Sundance and his team of history re-writers seem to forget. He brought in loan players as we were desperate and boy, did he get them right as the likes of Lucketti, Perry and Wright were just what we needed in terms of old hands who knew the score. Compare that to some of the ridiculous signings that Poortvielt brought in and then tell me who's the better manager? To just write him off as some sort of dinosaur and to ignore his achievements as Leicester is just plain cheap and pathetic. To write of Leicester's surge towards the championship as "Well they've got money. They're a big club in a small league" is remarkably naive and stupid. Ask Leeds fans if it's an easy league. What Leicester have to contend with is what we had to contend with in our first two seasons in the Championship... Everyone wants to beat them. To get back at the first attempt is no mean achivement and it relies solely on a) A good manager and b) A good chairman, especially in League One where cash is tight. Guess what? Leicester have both...
  8. I can see where you're coming from Frank but when have we ever been that great? In the Premiership we were pretty much dull mid table with four or five really good games and the odd upset against at least one of the big boys every season but when were we that attractive a proposition?? I'll admit to being a bit surprised that attendances have fallen as much as they have as those fans who did go weren't going because we were fantastic but because we're Saints, no more no less...
  9. I really don't think it's down to money and I don't there will be a "Oh go on then, if you insist" price that will get stay away fans to compormise their principles. I know that I'm paying more per game by not renewing my season ticket but I really do believe that, in my mind, they do not deserve my money all in one go and no amount of deals or cohersion will change that... Sad really...
  10. All of which shows the complete and utter helplessness the fans feel. Nothing they do will make a blind bit of difference whilst relatively wealthy men play stupid games with our club. Please god a clean sweep of all of them and a fresh start with a competely new board....
  11. Well he didn't endear himself to the protesters with his comments about the fans did he? Why can't people see that the Wotte placards were more down to his ill-timed comments rather than his abilities??
  12. One thing I do find quite sickening is the smugness of the pro Lowe camp for whom three, easily admittedly wonderful, successive wins seems to have completely erased six months of complete incompetance from Lowe. This is still the same chairman who booted out a good manager and brought in a man who brought this club to its knees. The fact that he got a good man to run the first team is by the by, it was purely and simply Lowe's meddling that created this mess in the first place and for that and the many, many other mistakes he's made over the years that he should go. It amazes me that if we have a star striker who once knocked them in left right and centre and then suddenly couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, would the rabidly pro Lowe lobby stand by him? Season after season of five goals a year, on top wages, would we keep him or would he be on his way? No, he'd be off. So why is it different for a chairman for whom Cardiff is light years away? We still have Lowe, under whom we got relegated; We still have Wilde, under whose stewardship we blew what little money we had left. To sit there and think we should be congratulating these two rather than actively seeking to get them out of the club is sheer madness. will I be protesting? No. The only thing I'm concerned with is avoiding relegation and getting behind the team but when the season is over I, like many others, want a clean slate with a new chairman and a new start.
  13. Effing Blackburn! Such a shi1t game! Just one effing goal, come on Blackburn!
  14. And no truer word will be said on this forum, whilst both sides of the fence engage in a ****ing competition, the club is slowly begining to turn a corner and get itself out of the godalmighty pile of ****e that it's been in for the last four years. I'm not sure that I like Mark Wotte. I find him cold, arrogant and immensely fan-unfriendly. I think his comments about the protesters was ill-timed rubbish and I wish to god he'd just stick to management as it obviously appears that that is his main strength. But whilst I don't particularly like him, he's the right man at the right place at the right time... right now. Was Lowe closer than to being right than we give him credit for? Absolutely not. There is a fine line between balancing the books and keeping the football ticking along. By getting rid of Pearson and relying on kids, Lowe made a most calamitous mistake. People may mock Alan Hansen for saying you'll win nothing with kids but he unfortunately refered to a once in a generation selection of young footballers. You certainly won't get out of this league by playing just kids, you need a blend, half and half. A strong spine of established pros who know the score and can help make the youngsters better players with that experience. By throwing the youngsters to the wolves I think Lowe has put back the development of some players who have suffered the burdon of expectation. The likes of Drew Surman and Adam Lallana have had huge pressure put on them and god only knows what the long term effects of the boos and jeers will have on the other young lads. Too much, way too soon. Lowe was wrong, end of. He dumped a talented coach and quite unbeliveably put his trust in a nice guy but a nice guy with nowhere near enough experience of English football. People can harp on all they want but the fact that Pearson has gone on to be very successful at Leicester shows that he is a good coach and yes we did miss out. Six months wasted. In the meantime, why can't we just revel in the glory of three hugely impressive wins on the bounce, not be smug, not be bitter and just be Saints fans? Please?
  15. With Jan Poortvliet he was a million miles from getting it right. The fact that Wotte is getting things right actually makes it worse. Wotte is, so far, miles better and Lowe definitely knows of Wottes abilities from his dealing with him in the past. There seems to be a movement on here that Lowe is the innocent party in all of this and was mislead by others to appoint Poortvielt. Now he's either a man who knows talent when he sees it and is so weak willed and feeble that he's allowed to be talked out of appointing him or he not as smart as people thought and couldn't see who was the best man for the job. Either way it doesn't look good does it?
  16. Usually when someone accuses you of being dull and uninteresting, it's usually a good idea to come up with something funny or interesting as a reply... Oopsy! What did we expect? (Leans back in chair, breathes a sigh of relief and hits the ignore button... bliss...)
  17. It's the same thing that's helping Pompey stay up that's damning us. They lose, teams around them lose as well. We win, teams around us win as well. Write this weekend off. Forest won away at Reading, Plymouth won away at Wolves. Back to square one. We did get one thing this weekend though.... We got hope...
  18. Now, you see with that one highlighted part you have just shown why a lot of people don't want Rupert Lowe as chairman anymore. He is the chairman of this football club. Not the manager, not the director of football but chairman. He's there to dot the i's and cross the t's and balance the books. How the team is run is none of his business, not even ours, it's the managers... It's not up to Rupert Lowe to agree to anything. It's up to him to back the manager up with signing or to refuse with signings but it is not his job to have any influence on team matters whatsoever... It's that meddling that many of us feel has got us into this mess and it's high time we had a chairman who just does a job, no more, no less....
  19. (Looks at post. Looks at post again... Yep still peddling the same crap, dull line of posting. Sighs. Looks longingly at the ignore button) Christ almighty you're dull. It's like you're totally void of any wit or intelligence and yet seem to think you're some bonne vivante.. You remind me a bit of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer get's drunk at a party and makes a **** out of himself but in his drunk mind he thinks he's the life and soul of the party...That'd be you. You think you're super intelligent, super humourous, super witty but the sad truth is, you're dull, unfunny and just plain embarrassing... For what it's worth, questioning the intelligence of everyone who has an opposing view to you is very tiresome. You're very tiresome... but please, respond... entertain us... We're all very interested in what you have to say...
  20. No, it's an apt description of everything you post... blah blah blah blah blah....
  21. You see again, you're posting but all i'm reading is blah blah blah blah.... We can obviously add "he thinks he's more intelligent than he really is" to the long list of things we know about JohnnyWetMePants.... Thing is Johnny, I really, really don't give a **** what you think of me. Another faceless, spineless nerd has a pop at me? Not going to lose a wink of sleep there fella. But if you are going to have a pop at least TRY to be either entertaini or halfway intelligent because right now, you're embarrassing.... And we're all laughing at you... But please Johnny... Feel free to entertain/enlighten us.....
  22. Whereas you've just proved the dull, uninteresting and deeply unamusing poster theory most people have of you. Now **** off you sad, dull, uninteresting little ****...
