  1. You can't argue with that really. I did think Crouch was a bit cheeky in his comments about Lowe going to Nottingham when, like it or not, he did play a part in our downfall... And a millionaire walking with a charity bucket? Well the irony wasn't lost on me either...
  2. What I find amusing Wes is the smarmy way people are droming on and on here about how paranoid some posters are on here and how they're looking for Lowe everywhere in the shadows. These would be the same same posters who buried their heads in the sand when this club was being ruined by Lowe and Wilde and believed everything was alright, whilst mocking the anti Lowe posters as being paranoid. As per usual, people are looking at the symptoms rather than the cause, the fact that Lowe and Wilde have instilled this paranoia with their gross mismangement of the club. Rather than look at the personalities that have caused this situation they constantly look at the people who react rather than those who provoke the reaction. The sad fact is that i wouldn't be at all surprised if Lowe did try and find a back door route back to this club. If he did, he'd kill the club stone dead as I know of quite a few die hard season ticket holders who have said if Lowe did come back, in any shape, then they'd not renew... and coming from them that's a very serious statement.
  3. So let me get this straight then... The FA did everything in their power to screw us over, stay up or not, yes? The FA are doing all they can to stop Stockport either getting relegated this season or starting with -10 next season, yes? Surely the fairest way to do things is if you go into adminstration after the deadine the points come off next season, if you go before the deadline then it's this season. Surely that's tha fairest way to do it or am I just paranoid in thinking the FA just want to screw us??
  4. Rob is a Saints fan, used to have a few drinks before/after a game with him. Lovely bloke, very down to earth. I believe David is a Massive Man Utd fan but I can always try and get hold of Rob and see...
  5. But he would have cost too much money Um! Compared to the golden duo who were an obvious bargain.... lol
  6. Mainly because Matt is a top bloke and a very down to earth footballer. Was gutted when he was shipped out and is yet ianother shining example of someone who is having the last laugh whilst not really enjoying it...
  7. You ****ing *****. The fact that those scumbags could exercise their "freedom of speech" is because some people go out and fight for it. VE day? Yes. To the mothers, wives and children, it probably felt like VE day. It's not wrong to welcome your loved ones back from a WAR... The reason there was trouble was because some scumbags decided to label soldiers as "baby killers" which is as about insulting as you can get. In the meantime I think you're a child molester. Not true but just me exercising my "right to freedom of speech."
  8. Frank.... Stop being so boring, pompous and pious...
  9. Unbelievable. We have had numerous people on here slating Stanley and Alpine, stating they're devisive and "anti club" and have on occasion wished something negative to happen to the club if it got rid of Lowe and then we have this, the reverse, someone wishing something harmful on the club if it rids the club of people they don't like.... Amazing, isn't it, how many of the perceived pro Lowe posters live in glass houses....
  10. Easy answer is that the ones who criticise the fans tend to be the ones who either... a) Were pro Lowe and used the fans as a convenient scapgoat for years of incompetence from the board. It's rather like RBS blaming their customers for their banks demise or Woolworths blaming the customers for theirs. If you treat your "customers" with enough contempt then you'll reap what you sow... or b) Were the ones who sat in silence and said nothing whilst this club was being run into the ground and now turn on their fellow fans to hide the fact they, in any group, are as culpable as anyone for the club's demise. If you say nothing when things are obviously going wrong then in my opnion you lose the right to start slinging mud... I personally think the fans of this club are pretty damn amazing, especially when you look at what we've put up with over the last four years. People on here have been droning on about Pompey's "amazing support", completely forgetting that during the mid eighties they were getting crowsd belwo 10,000 in the Championship/old 1st division. We'd get that for a ****ehouse carling cup game against Crewe ffs... We've put upwith enough for crying out loud, the fans are the last peopleto blame for all of this mess...
  11. Just ask him a question about football... You'll flumox him completely...
  12. No... he was just stinking....
  13. Er... no thanks, we just got rid of one....
  14. (cough cough) 50 years... thank you...
  15. But the irony is that Fratton Park might just save them. St Marys is a millstone around our necks, imagine if they had a £100 million pound stadium??? Ok so Fratton can't sustain their wage bill but it could be their secret weapon...
  16. I know but it just annoys the living **** out of me that Lowe and Wilde can absolutely ruin this club and ****s like 19c say nothing. Clive Foley throws a wobbly and it's the worst thing ever apparently.... It's a ****ing joke... If relegation rids us of pathetic plastic, internet morons like 19c them it's a bitter pill well worth swallowing. Clive Foley is worth 20 of him...
  17. Absolutely spot on Lg3c... It further cements what i've felt for years now, that this club just doesn't care and we're all viewed as walking cashpoints. For the club to truly move forward it needs to find its soul and try to reconnect with the fans and win back their trust as right now it's a ****ing joke that the whole of football is laughing at...
  18. ****ing unbelievable. Lowe and Wilde preside over this whole shambolic mess... You say nothing. Clive Foley quite rightly gets angry at the people who ****ed this club right royally and you throw a fit. You really are the biggest **** on this or any other messageboard... It's stepford fans like you that allowed Lowe to get away with so much for so long.... And you have a in at Clive? You complete and utter tosser...
  19. Hold on...am I the only one who's actually sent the email?
  20. Hate to point it out, but if you're insulting someone's intelligence it would help if you could actually spell grammar...
  21. God, is this embarrassing thread still limping on? It's funny to see so many posters who get their knickers in a twist about Lowe being blamed and are forever telling us that one man can't be held to blame for everything and then go on to blame one group, the fans, for administration... Internet messageboards... comedy at its best...
  22. I see, so between 4,000 and 5,000 boycotted the club because of Lowe?? How on earth did you get that figure? The drop in attendances had nothing to do with the loaning out of our better players and their replacement with youth teamers or relegation and mis-management or countless other **** ups then? The problem we have here is that the rabidly pro Lowe mob seem to want to play the "loyalty card" when it suits them. We are customers, no more, no less. It's only when the club ****s up that they remember us and play the loyal supporter card. I've come across countless stories of loyal season ticket holders who have been shown appalling customer service, appalling treatment and then been expected to renew. They've quite rightly told the club where to go. The reason we're ****ed is because the old board got us relegated, cost us £30 million a year, cost us about 8,000 plastic fans who didn't fancy Championship football and cost us a fair amount of good players who went back to the Premiership. The reason we're ****ed is that the new board gambled on promotion and lost and got us further into debt. To put 60-70% of the blame on the fans is just completely and utterly ridiculous... It's those fans that are now expected to bail the club out and then be blamed for the club entering administration? We're just paying a high, high cost for treating fans like idiots....
  23. Oh it was a ****ing amazing day, capped off with a pitch invasion! Love the clip but it just makes me feel sad, that's all....
  24. It does bring a smile and then it doesn't. This season just completely ****ed all over the memory of that day. One of the best days as a Saints fan now completely ruined when Pearson was dumped and the players that saved us that day, farmed out on loan... Stern John, Marek Sagnowski... what a waste...
