I'd like to read the logical explanation for that one. Spuds 2-0, so far. Ex-Pompey scorers in Crouch and Kranjcar.
-
Of course, I agree with that. I do include Charlton as one of the wobbly teams, but I'd still rather they beat Huddersfield, as Town have lost confidence since we pummelled them 5-0. A draw would be acceptable though.
-
But if they win they soon will be. Unfortunately, if some team loses, another team wins, especially if they are playing each other. We need all those above us in this division, upto 6th place to do badly. It doesn't matter who. So that means Colchester, MKDons, Bristol Rovers and Huddersfield need to do relatively poorly. That automatically makes it easier for Saints to make the playoffs. The rest, Norwich, Millwall, Leeds, Swindon and Charlton, can pull some distance away from 6th place for all I care. Remember, it's not huge amounts of points we actually need. We just need to leapfrog other teams upto 6th place.
-
Well it probably was the longest shot possible. Millwall are going to make auto-promotion at their rate, and 2nd place is gone anyway, so it almost doesn't count. Think I'd rather play Leeds in a playoff anyway.
-
Simply because Huddersfield are doing even worse, overall.
-
They need to be buried into the Premiership dust. Normally I'm quite charitable in my thoughts about these things, but Pompey have twisted and turned, and lobbied and bullied, to scratch and cheat their way to avoiding relegation and some success in the FA Cup. I find I have little sympathy for them left.

Nicked the list, cheers. Brentford v Leyton Orient N/A Brighton v Tranmere N/A Bristol Rovers v Southend - SOUTHEND WIN Colchester v Wycombe - WYCOMBE WIN Exeter v Walsall N/A Gillingham v MK Dons - GILLINGHAM WIN Hartlepool v Swindon - HARTLEPOOL WIN Huddersfield v Charlton - CHARLTON WIN Millwall v Stockport - STOCKPORT WIN Norwich v Leeds United - NORWICH WIN or DRAW I'm not bothered about 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places - they're gone. Even 5th is off the radar, really. But 6th place is all I'm asking for, so that's why Huddersfield, Colchester, MKDons, and Bristol Rovers need to come away from today's matches with nothing. That would make my day. It's a big ask. Southend are doing us proud, atm.

Are you going for some kind of record, Dog..?

Last time I looked it up, the cheating git, aka Maradona, played for Argentina.

Well it certainly can't help, can it. Personally, I think people are pretty much the same. You get a few twerps, and you get a few ultra sensible, and most people are somewhere in between. Forums, perhaps unfortunately, give twerps the opportunity to have more exposure than is probably good for them.

Don't blame him the slightest. If it makes him feel a bit better and it brings a bit of fun, then do it. People may think it hilarious how the Irish can't forget, but my thought is always - what if it happened to your team..? Most of you would be bleating like lambs.

Was going to comment on this, but I noticed a couple of foul mouthed Saints fans had already infiltrated the CU site. That improved the image of this club no end.

Well said, WT. A far better read than the Mirror newspaper clip.

Well, if it does, DSM usually notices.

He should have noticed that. And don't cringe or groan, I only got in just ahead of DSM anyway.
