No it isn't a show about white people or white peoples issues. Neither is it a programme about black peoples issues from half a centry ago, although this ticks many more boxes in PC Britain so becomes justified.

I can't sleep in very often. As soon as I wake up I tend to get up. I struggle to go back to sleep again and I am not one for lying in bed doing nothing. I think you are somewhat missing the point. If I was watching an episode of Roots and getting engrossed in the abolition of slavery and how black families struggled against the wrongful system, I would fully expect to see many blacks in the TV programme and I would not be at all surprised to see an episode featuring an entirely black cast. If one week they slipped it out into the public domain that this week would be an entirely white cast and they all sat around discussing "white problems" for the entire programme, I would be scratching my head in pretty much the same manner I was at the ludicrous Eastenders episode.

I think they would actually welcome a bender back with open arms to show the nation how all embracing they are. It is the same as giving a woman or black dude a position, but they would never elevate him to party leader.

The 1000 gay men in monogamous relationships bit was quite funny. Lets face it, men in relationships (people for that matter) will lie if challenged about having been putting it about. That (nearly) reads as if either all gay men tell the truth or perhaps all gay men never screw around.

Does doing the mean you are always right? Sometimes you put a few down and other times just the one or two. Can you give me a guide to what the varying amounts mean please.

I sometimes drive a car and sometimes go to matches. I have combined the two things on occasion.

It's okay going doing a show about survival but this clown goes too far. You have a TV crew with you and plenty of food and water. There is a plane nearby and you could be in McDonalds somewhere within a few hours. There is no need to open an antelopes stomach up and squeeze it's poo above your head to get water out. Just tell us, we will "get it"! I know he is a tough man and he might have had/ will have to do these things at some point in time but don't do it just for the camera, you dinlo plank!

I was informed just before it started last night that it was going to be a show where everyone in it would be black for just one episode. Why couldn't they have just gone and done it without announcing that? By announcing it they leave the door open for people to ask if there will be a "white only" show soon and what the merits would be to either scenario. My own personal thought is that it didn't need to happen but it will be yet again considered totally acceptable to do this for a minority group but God forbid you do it the other way.

This is where the real experience is lacking though. Engineering still requires a lot of "hands on" knowledge in the individual field of the job and so a qualification in broad "engineering" is not often enough to get the best jobs. I never expected myself to be going back into it again but due to the Credit Crunch and wishing to relocate back down south I am back in where I left 13 years ago.

I thought Technician and Engineer were the same thing, hence why I can apply for jobs in either and sometimes the jobs are the same within the same company, yet get this, they have a different word all together for someone that designs things. It's laughable, but they call them "Designers."
