What an Immaculate Conception that would be

Sounds like a terrific performance today, good news that Ricky is coming back to form. The good thing so far is the league is still wide open. A fully fit & hopefully a free scoring Lambert, combined with Saints finding at last a good run of consistency could make this the season we all want so much. WIFM

Best Value For Money Signings 1. Mark 'Psycho' Dennis...
Under Weststand replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
Ivan Golac what an inspired signing he was & for a mere £50,000. Also Ivan Katalinic (or could be Catastrophic) was a great shot stopper but absaloute pants coming of his line for crosses. -
Oh well ignore last post can't quite believe its been done so quickly, but there you go. All you have to do know is pay the bills on time. Good luck on that.

Lets get this straight they may have done enough to ratify the deal, but until the full FL board get together & agree for the golden share to passed to the NEW cough cough splutter splutter owner. Then they will not be out of administration in the correct manner. I know this for fact as the Stockport County saga up here went on for a full 18-months, they went to the FL about 6 times untill they were happy that they could finance themselves going forward. If & it a big IF the FL look into the finances as they should will the figures all add up???? Oh sorry I forgot this is the fish fiddlers were talking about & normal rules don't count so they probably are out of admin & can start trading insolvently all over again. They've already gone over budget with their wage structure, they have to service the wages PAYE (or can they just ignore this again for a few months) also service the agreed payments to creditors. All on massive 15,000 gates at krap notarf, this saga still has legs left yet.

Could well be a good thing for him, he's been out of sorts all season, & may do Punch well also. Barnard has seemingly been on good form & Chamberlain is certainly putting pressure on the manager to start, may well still be better coming on as an impact sub though? But will soon deserve a chance to impress.
-
Only caught the last 15-mins but Chamberlain sounded fantastic from what I heard & unlucky not to score a 2nd at the end. Sounds like Barney & AOC turned the game for us. Most important thing is we keep in the hunt with 3-points.
-
YYEEEESSSSS get in there 3-points in the bag.
-
Davis fabulous save to keep them out. another header over the bar,.. Phew
-
Davis off his line to save keep them out Saints

-
ref is giving some dodgy decisions here need to see this out now or better still seal it up with a 3rd.

Been busy packing the house ready for move next week, How we been playing today.

So they've been running the club on a shoe string, is that why they got rid of players on small wages so they could get expensive replacements in on double their new wage structure. And still the rest off football seems to think they are hard done by???

God it p**ses me off when they go on about their great fans cant even fill their S**te hole of a ground in the prem it really is a complete fallacy. It is one off the most perpetuated myths of modern times. I so hope they finally get their comeuppance come Tuesday (is Tuesday the new Friday??? ) Made my day seeing that come up on sky news in the pub tonight.

Rupert Lowe did Good Things while he was at the club - discuss
Under Weststand replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
Lets not forget he gave us a nice picture of a train instead of that crappy picture of a former manager with some tin pot cup we won. No on a serious note Rupert obviously did some good, the stadium, the academy, he missed the opportunity to move us forward by keeping too tight a reign on individual wages. By that I mean instead of getting 3 ordinary players on our wage structure we should have pushed the boat out on 1 really good player on higher wages & broken the said wage structure. If he'd had a team budget rather than a individual budget (I think Bolton is a good example of this) maybe just maybe we'd have never got into the mess we found ourselves in. When we got relegated we had a bloated squad of to many journeymen with no top class players. And as has been said many times before if your not moving forwards you soon start moving backwards. The constant manager merry-go-round also caused instability within the club. So IMHO he missed his chance & then didn't know when to go! Don't hate him like many on here but glad he's now a distant memory. -
Sounded like a good team performance, & seems like Adkins footballing philosophy is paying dividends. Guly is beginning to find his feet, will be interested to see if the rumours are true we've bought, not just loaned him. Also keen to see what those at the game feel about Lamberts performance, is getting back to form? lets hope so. Also hope we can keep the run going next week at Huddesfield, will be a good test for the team & of our aspirations.

Good performance good result & 10-points in the bag in the prediction league. Happy bunny today.
