If I was the board I’d be questioning even giving him until the end of the season atm. We spent all of January trying to strengthen spending 60 m on players to give us our best shot of surviving,now selles team selections are making pretty much the whole January transfer dealings and 60 m pound spent a complete waste of time. how does that make you feel if you are ankersson?? Yes the board have made a lot of mistakes this season but they did at least put their hands in their pockets in January to try and give us what we needed but now selles seems to have decided with some of them getting not even three starts that we are better off using players who are hundred percent proven not good enough absolutely cowardly team selections with a poor impersonation of hasenhuttl tactics is just gonna bring exactly what we expect it will

Honestly I feel really pissed with selles right now .. all the signings we made in January .. he starts none of them ..Alcaraz has looked one of our best players recently why is he on the bench? how can u possibly watch us all season and think yeah elyonoussi is a good idea as one of our attacking tens I know there is people who think the likes of Paul Orsic and Sula haven’t been great so far but I’d rather see the likes of these giving a proper try then to keep putting out the same crap every man and his dog have witnessed are not good enough for years.. at least try something differant .. edozie also seems frozen out atm It’s like every thing we tried to do in the January window selles is thinking nah I’ve got a better idea let’s bring back the players we know are not good enough instead .. For him to have watched us all season and to still think that moi is gonna offer us anything is criminal .. it’s also fairly obvious that Alcaraz should be starting in a 433 no sulemana after he looked electric last week too.. Majority of his team selections seem to be going towards playing the players who are proven to be not good enough.. I can’t get on board with this guy

Whatever happens to us regardless of staying up or going down, I hope we put our foot down and get tella back for next season. burnley seem to be getting a bit cocky thinking they are going to keep a player we did them a favour by loaning to them.. but at the end of the day the way he’s developed this season he could be a huge asset to us next year, who doesn’t want a lightning fast pacy clinical finisher .. if we let them mug us off taking him off us we are beyond pathetic

Can I ask you why you think it looked a bizzare signing in the first place ? a player that has looked great at europa league .. including a hatrick vs spurs, scoring against Chelsea and a beautifull curled effort against West Ham a player that has scored another beautiful curled effort in a World Cup semi final on big international stage and ripped up the Croatian league for years .. what looks bizzare about that? bar why would he want to join the club bottom of the league ? looked a great signing imo and as proven as your gonna get for a club like us.. we don’t buy top players from top leagues but this was more a signing in the tadic vein if you wanna write him after a couple of appearances, and because selles doesn’t rate him that’s on you .. selles is still picking elyounoussi every week so his judgement isn’t that good 🤣

Out of all of our January signing he was the one I’d say most of the fanbase were across the board happy with .. look at the Orsic thread,zero questioning or negativity towards this signing .. many thinking he could be our next tadic, and how he actually looks like he has end product unlike most of our options I have a suspicion maybe he had a fall out behind the scenes or that his fitness is way way below par .. he looked like he had such finesse in his shots when cutting in 🧐

I don’t think it is the case of not playing so become world beaters at all, all of us pretty much thought Orsic looked the nuts when we’re signing him . His pedigree was good having scored hatrick against spurs a beautifull curled effort against West Ham and vs morocco and also scored vs chelsea so his pedigree is there ..ok he looked off the pace in the games he did play but could be just a not fit thing and there’s also the chance he had a fall out behind the scenes so silly to cross him off. what I find frustrating is we would rather revert to playing moi every week who is concrete rock solid proven in offering absolutely nothing, then giving games to the likes of edozie Orsic arribo even sulemana yesterday .. these players should have been bought to oust moi and make him about 6th choice Am but instead they don’t get much of a chance and he’s still there offering nothing every game it’s better to try something that could work and give you something differant then sticking with proven poor ?

Looked really good today .. don’t really get the stick he has received in the past ..looks to have much more shooting technique then the likes of che and Armstrong , and pacy too . Him and sulemana who was outstanding completely changed the game

Here we go with the backwards team selections again.. Alcaraz and Sula out and god damn moi again.. might as well get redmond and long back the way selles is thinking 😆. I find this is a bit hard to believe though.. he was good enough at World Cup.. good enough to score past Chelsea good enough to get a hatrick vs spurs.. he’s proven himself against premiership clubs in the europa .. fitness issues maybe, maybe a fall out but I don’t think this is ability related even though he looked a bit off the pace in the couple of games he did play

What the hell is going on with Orsic anyway.. this guy looked everything we wanted .. As I was saying the other day ..selles team selections are extremely questionable to say the least .. he seems to be getting a better tune out of our bunch.. but .. To answer your question I’d even take it back further then this years transfers. Salisu for example was seen by practically every one as our first choice centre back we then signed ABK who started great and also Caleta Carr. by this stage bednarek is like our 4th choice cb at best and no one cared when he went to villa then you have likes of Walcott elyounoussi.. same kind of thing we have signed likes of sulamana orsic (god knows what’s going on behind the scenes with him), edozie stuey is another good option .. but here we are going back to Walcott. and then finally there’s che, yes we all know he has some good aspects to his game and that finishing is not one of them he has uses, but everybody and his dog knew we needed a striker upgrade we all spent all January crying about it .. jones knew it Rasmus knew it the fans knew it . but after what 2 or 3 starts ? Onuachu is already out of the side and we are back with che again .. maybe he’s not good enough ? But it’s too early to know really main point is all these team selections on paper look kind of like moving backwards instead of forwards .. doubt bednarek would be getting a look in under Ralph for example . it could also be that maybe selles wants more experience from players who have been there and done that for the relegation battle.Where I suppose that makes sense as jan,walcott and che do have a lot of premier league experience . you know as long as the results are coming in,, we are gonna be happy with whoever he’s starting and the results validate his selections .. but I think deep down the points above do stand and people would be quick to point out the above if we went on a terrible steak

Well us forum members have been watching the likes of bednarek adams elyounoussi etc to know they are not really the answer… when jones started picking janny B he was getting murdered on here for that decision …. whilst the results are coming in it’s fine and we can’t really argue with the selections but you would think the likes of salisu and caleta Carr were upgrades over janny.. on paper it’s a bit of a smack in the face to our transfer activity that now we bring him Walcott adams moi (not this week) back and looks a bit going backwards . but as long the points are coming in he has license to do what he likes

Interesting thing here with selles is he’s managing to pick quite a lot of unpopular players which most of us would usually be against don’t think many of us would have been choosing theo janny b even bringing adams back in over the supposed striker we bought to save our season.. but as long as he’s getting the results I guess it’s ok

I know it’s unfashionable to say but at least jones was getting closer to playing decent formation 433 and moi was dropped ..and he also did try to make tactical changes and subs even if they didn’t work.. selles lineups seem a bit of a backwards step if that’s possible moi back in,still playing shitnarek anyway promising player like Alcaraz dropped in the league games .. for me at least the lineups and tactics is more depressing then njs

On the eye test stuey is light years ahead of moi.. stuey is one of our best ball carriers is intelligent can pop up with goals and is better with ball retention then moi .. over the last few years when fit he’s been one of our most important players I’ve never heard anyone compliment moi like he’s one of our key players

Does absolutely nothing, ghost of a player.. I’d prefer AA or Walcott even in the attacking 10 positions .. when you see moi name on the team sheet you just know your gonna struggle to create anything

Guess you could argue edozie looks more promising at this stage, at least he has been very good with his one on one dribbling, whilst I’m not sure I’ve been impressed with anything from bazunus game. He’s more just come here with hype the same as Angus Gunn and been quite a big let down and also a liability currently.. wouldn’t really say edozie has been any worse then any of our other tens I’d prefer him over moi. main point I was trying to make with this though is it just seems like bazunu gets continuously played no matter how bad he performs at the moment it’s been pretty obvious for a good couple of months at least he’s costing us

Seems like we don’t want to drop him to dent his confidence or something .. you know players like edozie might not be ready either but he’s shown a lot more then bazunu and we are happy to drop him. it’s quite bizzare to me especially in our situation that we keep persisting with him when he’s been a liability nearly all season and hardly had a great game . this really isn’t time to mess about developing players that are not ready especially with a keeper .
