Well Denmark got by using this and the same one we had in the 86 World Cup. Probably comes of more white and pink so can still use against teams playing in red or just use for away games when feeling like it.. tbh I wouldn’t mind this as the home shirt either.. it’s still red and white would appeal to fans of the Denmark style and differant from last time win win

New shirt is a bit meh for me but I’m not a fan of basic stripes.. But super excited for if/when we get the Denmark style shirts. would be good if we also got the Denmark away version that they used at the time. Half white half striped, think this was even sexier then the home shirt 🥰

Anyone that purchased the retro shirts are they the same/similar material to the real shirts?? last time I purchased a retro rank xerox type shirt the shirt was more T-shirt material then the shiny polyester of the 80s so just wanted to check ??

Here’s the thing our form under him has been terrible for ages, Do we really want to wait until what looks like will happen happens and we are in the relegation zone by Xmas and hiring the likes of allardyce to save us? or do we take action now whilst we have the chance of getting a better manager whilst we are not in a bad position where no one wants to risk it employ someone else give him the summer to get to know the players and the chance to bring in who he wants? im all for the latter

Adkins wasn’t a bad manager for us but do you remember how quickly we instantly improved when pochetino took over..we transformed instantly into a hard working horrible to play against teams and the tactics worked a treat. judt wanted to put that out there for those saying it’s the players and no one could get a tune out of them better then Ralph.. gotta ask the questions does Ralph make tactical changes that benefit us very often in game ? does he learn from bad runs of form and do differant things to try get a differant result ? is his player selection and use of subs good? all the talk about him being some thinking manager that analyses the shit out of everything and has tactics and his finger on the pulse of everything I’m really not seeing it

Every match he plays you see that stupid hands on head surprised but grinning face when he messes a chance up.. offers nothing lightweight, hardly ever beats his man/ brain dead can’t finish.. really cant see the point in us signing Walcott if he can’t get in over this dude.. and tella looked instantly better the moment he came on.. but more then anything it’s making me totally sick of Ralph to keep picking him!

Please get this man out of the club..we are totally awful,, playing the same way that doesn’t work all season, keeps selecting brainless Redmond over decent alternatives like tella. its just not working at all I think that’s clear to see now. We are crying out for a differant strategy that works.. nothing we are doing is working can’t defend, create little chances especially second half time to try something differant

Still find it odd that Ralph isn’t using the remaining games to give tella more prem experience.. he’s shown good promise and it makes more sense to use these games to help devolop him then it does to start minamino who isn’t ours or Redmond who isn’t even much better then tella is now

Think we need better.. Adams is from the Shane long school of finishing. Majority of chances he gets he finds some way to mess it up just like long

Lampard could be great imo, high iq super hard working as a player, commands respect, and think you have to cut him a bit of slack with Chelsea as he had to gel a ton of new signings.. very much simular profile to hoddle when he joined us.. as for him seeking a higher profile job don’t think he’s really in that place at the moment he’s failed at Chelsea so none of the other big clubs will be so keen now.. and the likes of Everton West Ham and Leicester are all doing great with decent managers so we would be a decent club for him to bounce back and rebuild his reputation

Like I said my choice would be lampard, but surely there is others out there that could be a improvement on Ralph’s bottom of the league form since new year. howe, jardim Marco Silva Allegri ,Rafa etc there’s plenty of options

Might as well get rid of him now and give the new manager chance to assess the squad before the summer . ralph is tactically naive and is showing no signs of turning this around .. think we need a new manager who first and foremost makes us hard to beat, not too bothered about playing attacking football so not too excited by Howe . lampard is the man for me, intelligent manager with a good record reminds me very much of the profile of hoddle when we brought him in

Hard to say for a lot of the players IF he actually improved them or was it just that the players actually got more consistent game time that they wasn’t getting before. Bednarek for example was pretty much not playing before Ralph came in so of course he’s more effective, the likes of Armstrong and vest also didn’t really get consistent runs. havent seen that much improvement from some of the players signed by him Adams and djenepo etc are not really significantly looking superb all of a sudden.. still winds me up a bit that he got rid of gabbi without giving him any chance whatsoever.. gabbi was a super intelligent player with amazing movement and also a great finisher yet Ralph gives him no chance yet keeps long.. also think gabbi is miles better then che also. boufal also better then the majority of our number tens bar Armstrong

I think this second striker talk is kind of making excuses for him also . Ings has been carrying our main goal threat just because he’s the clinical striker not che, ings was also carrying it when we had long playing with him , both look like good foils for ings cos ings is class. And also these big men little men combinations don’t always favour the smaller faster striker look at Beattie and ormerod, was beatie a second striker just because he was the big guy with better hold up play ?

Before his injury he was doing a better job then Redmond and djen so good enough for the first team and slightly better then our other number 10 options barring Armstrong.. that said the injury at his age makes the signing a bit more worrrying, we could probably upgrade on him but would cost us another 15-20 m signing maybe to do so. i guess for free it makes sense and he does seem to have a soft spot for the club and seems a model pro so not a bad guy to have around

This.. whoever we target to replace ings looks a real huge key transfer for the club.. we need a proper goalscorer this time it’s not gonna be a easy signing

I have a feeling ings might end up back at Liverpool with us maybe taking minamino or another of theirs a bit like the kwp hojbjerg deals

Gotta be in the running for Player of the season this year imo. Our most creative player by far, like Ralph says our best carrier, he does a better job running wth the ball and beating players then our actual wingers. like Redmond, Moussa etc even though Armstrong is as much as a cm back in his Celtic days.. he’s been superb this season

Don’t want to be a hater but in a way I hope this performance vs a championship side doesn’t cement his place in the team for ages now. im more interested in the likes of tella and minamino getting game time for us, tella could be our rising star and maybe we will take mina at end of season if he impresses.. Redmond was starting to lose his place and has been shockingly bad for ages so I don’t really want him blocking the players who may improve us in the future now. well done yesterday but I think over a long time he’s not good enough and we need someone else on Armstrong level

Absolutely.. this ball recycling slow patient approach is driving me absolutely mad when we are behind., it’s clear to a blind man it’s not working we are not creating anything through the patient play it hasn’t worked all season so why are we still doing it.. Everyone keeps making excuses for Ralph and it’s not him, he’s amazing but the players are not good enough etc. but Ralph has to take responsibility for this slow ball recycling play we are doing that isn’t working. If for example Redmond kept doing this and Ralph didn’t like it he would be told not to keep doing it or dropped. And it’s not just him it’s a tactic used by the majority of the team. This is completely on Ralph not the standard of the players you get them doing what you want them to do.. if your tactics are not working when behind with pass back round the defence try be direct, take long shots,1-2s, long balls anything.. would just be nice to see he’s actually recognising when something’s not working.

Something changed this season. Last season we did not do this patient ball recycling so much.. i remember reading a article on how he had tweaked our play to now do this earlier in on the season when it was working well with jannik playing nice passes out of defence. this is imo our biggest problem atm keep the ball pass back recycle it create jack shit,, only Armstrong looks like he wants to try drive forward with the ball or has the intelligence to create.. why is Ralph persisting with this stupid patient football especially when we are behind, last kick of the game the other day a Redmond pass back says it all.. if it isn’t working for 15-20 games why keep doing it.. try be more direct or something surely? i thought the rh plan was to win the ball and transition fast on the break we are seeing none of that anymore!
