Still think it was a mistake to get rid of boufal over Redmond and djenepo..these two are just not good enough and would be easily replaced,Walcott is like a breath of fresh air in comparison. agree it would have probably been a better move to put Walcott up front for ings tough ask for tella and nlundulu to come into this game and change it where was Armstrong today ? amazing how much vestergaard has turned it around this season, gone from joke figure laughing stock to a absolutel colossus looking like we have another world class center back on our hands at the moment

Our game doesn’t really suit the slow possession based football.. we look much much better when hitting teams direct and fast without giving them time to set up.. we played a bit too much of this in the first half and the sending off made the game go even more this way.... thought some of Adams’s build up play tonight was superb though he’s getting good at holding the ball up and releasing players.. Theo was good again he drops into some nice pockets and can then beat players on the turn which can open up space, nice finish also.. ings has looked a bit off the pace the last couple of games be good to get him back to his normal sharpness.

Same team again for me.. getting a consistent first team has worked well for us, plus arsenal are totally there for the taking so don’t want us dropping points by changing things and resting players

Think that was probably Adams best performance for us, interesting to see how he does now his confidence should be rising. romeau showing a lot of the doubters to be totally wrong. Always find it weird how posters tend to make out a player is utter crap just because he is not starting. To be honest romeau has been pretty solid in most games he has played over the last two seasons.. deserves his run in the side. redmond man of the match really? i just don’t rate this guy personally.. struggles to beat his man, loses possession quite often when trying to beat anyone. Has no football brain, carries the ball to long when could pass and his shots are usually wayward. Only thing he really brings is a bit of pace and can carry the ball at speed occasionally, overall though I think we need to upgrade on him soon.

Probably makes financial sense to give him decent wage increase really.. as him not signing could cost us 40m plus on his next move

I think djenepo has been pretty dire the start of this season bar the goal.. very anonymous never looked like trying to take any one on and struggling to get into the games.. I do rate him but hasn’t looked very lively of late

Think Ralph may go with mccarthy kwp bed vest. Bertrand Romeu. Jwp walcott. Redmond Ings. Che think romeau and vestergaard probably get rewarded for their displays of late so not expecting diallo debut. Moussa hasn’t really been great of late although good goal and Redmond is a real hasenhuttl favourite so can see redders back in. and think Walcott may be more of a rightsided player then djenepo so possible debut for Theo assuming Armstrong isn’t ready to go this week after covid

In a interview he says his best position is a box to box cm. he can also play left or right or as a classic ten. what I like about him is along with a huge frame he has extremely quick feet great dribbling and is pacy too, saw some Chelsea fans saying how can a big man like him dribble like hazard 6 goals and two assists from his 24 palace games I really should stop getting excited about this one but I can’t helo it

Yeah got that feeling too. But spoke to my West Ham supporting friend about this and he was like”I don’t know why you think we will get loftus we are after defenders” I actually think we would be exactly the type of club that Lampard would like to see us join as well, they want him to come out get game time and we are a club with a decent reputation for developing young players. If we can get past it’s only for a season this can be a huge win for all parties

Really hope we get Rlc in could be the difference that has us really competitive and challenging for Europe . surprises me people would be ok with a arsenal youngster on loan but not Rlc, he is top draw and would come streight in a one of our best players if only for the season.he was great for palace

I’m a semi pro gambler, agree the snowballing could have effect.. but it can also work the other way around and could be short due to itk people backing because they have info. what I will say though the West Ham rumours have been at least as strong as ours so why no rumours snow balling effect for them? to me there is such a big difference I think there may be something in this

Looks a very creative player this veerman some really great passing and technique in the vids. bit surprising as Ralph usually prefers the headless chicken types lol

Think one thing we are lacking at the moment is a cm that has a bit of pace to drive forward with the ball at pace sometimes. Romeau and ward prowse are both pretty static (jwp) doesn’t have the pace to do it. shame that Ralph didn’t fancy lemina as he did have this in his locker.. maybe davies could bring this actually? a couple of our best openings came from Armstrong being able to burst through like this but a lot of the time he is stuck out wide and our attack becomes a bit flat and static

Agree some being way too harsh on armstrong, he looked the only one really capable of opening up the game.. couple of nice bursts through the middle near the end which could have set us up.. yes he made the wrong choices but no one else was close to really making things happen..

Wouldn’t get carried away. The fact that he said ONE or two minimum means there’s a possibility it could only be one..

Not sure what to make of da grossa, but at least he sounds like he has more of a plan then gao does who seems to be completely hands off. personally I would love another Cortese type but with the backing to match his vision and ambitions. It’s a real shame we didn’t get to see how far nc could have taken us if Marcus didn’t die

Watching the clip I do agree with the analysis that his first touch seems very good, seems to get the ball under control super fast or with a turn without really slowing him down, seems powerful too although maybe looks a bit of a diver always seems to be drawing fouls. End product looks looks a bit meh or at least the video isn’t showing much end product. overall he looks ok but not as exciting as watching a boufal or djenepo YouTube clip ,still wish we would stick with boufal and try and get the best out of his obvious talents but seems he’s definitely off by the look of it
