It’s worrying me that we are still in the dark over the supposed striker.. surely something would slip out by now? Re fullback tbh I’m happy to go as we are there, moussa is doing a good job and I think it’s been good for him too, should of helped his confidence and the fans confidence in him and I’m hoping he gets a crack at number ten when perraud is fully fit. Moussa at least offers the ability to skin players and make things happen . striker and number ten are the positions we are hopefully looking at. As we showed yesterday we can compete but lack a bit of creativity and composure still

It’s not so much hit and miss for me,, he just seems a bit anonymous for most of the games so far in the same way that moi does but enough moaning.. joe shields has done a super job so far.. lavia and ABK look like they are gonna br big international stars for their countries they are that good. And Mara again looking promising in his little cameo again tried one of those nice through balls I wonder if he can play number. Ten as he definitely has creativity and can make things happen . great bunch of youngsters and if they get time to grow together without us getting hijacked to fast the future looks bright

Don’t wanna be the first to say it but I don’t think arribo is gonna be the answer to our number 10 problems.. he’s been very anonymous the past two games hardly noticed him.. more creativity coming from djenepo and AA tbh . still think this is a position we should be looking at along with the striker none of our attacking 10s are really causing any problems, we are crying out for someone in the 10 that can make things happen atm djenepo probably looks most likely if used when perraud ia fully fit

Moi did play that superb through ball for adams to scuff , so hadn’t been completely anonymous.. bella kotchup and lavia both looking more and more superb every game you see them, think abk looks better then salisu already tbh.

Don’t know if you caught him vs Italy in the euros he ran them ragged .. his pace is blistering he was linked with Liverpool just after but seems to have. Not really kicked on and haven’t heard any talk about him moving elsewhere..absolute beast when running at defenders though slaloms past players with insane pace and power

Not a link just a suggestion on my part but how about Jeremy doku from Rennes .. looked insanel prospect at the euros but seems to have not been playing much maybe could get him for around 20-30.. I thought he was gonna be the next big thing the way he played vs Italy

Jury is still out for me on che, 4 goals in two games is a good start. But I think the hype for him at the minute is a bit over the top, first Leicester goal was a easy chance and the two goals vs Cambridge is a bit too early to think he’s gonna be our next Danny ings pleasantly surprised with Mara too but broja’ just had that unique skill set of being freakishly fast for a big man all the tools are there to be a absolute superstar

A lot of people seem down on broja for his second half of the season form, but if he had kept it up we would have zero chance ..so maybe a blessing I think the guy has absolute world class potential personally and this would be the dream signing if we could get him perm

I’m starting to wonder if it’s broja we are waiting for. We are leaving it very late in the window so must have someone in mind.. West Ham we’re interested now that’s dead, he could still wind up at Everton but his options are starting to drain away now later it gets he needs to start thinking about game time so maybe it could happen

I thought it was a perfect ball in from jwp myself .. it was entirely into Adams area evading all defenders. He could have probably finished it in other ways but props for the way he did

Someone like broja would be the ideal for me,, explosive and can get past defenders would be nice to have someone who can make their own goals in the team. adams second goal looked great in the acrobatic way he took it but both chances were put on a plate really

Just hope todays result doesn’t make us complacent in the market, we still need a a decent striker. a quality number ten wouldn’t go amiss either

Ramos looks quite good. Kind of reminds me of Alexis Sanchez.. would have thought we would be more after a proper cf but he looks like he could play anywhere up front or wide

We lack players that can make something out of nothing.. he is tricky unpredictable and can beat players for fun like he showed Saturday

Wanted to say thought djenepo looked great attacking wise against Leeds was skinning the full back for fun .. few stopovers and gone. Put some nice crosses in too.. not giving up on him yet when he can beat players with ease like that we don’t really have anyone else capable of doing that.. I actually think he would be interesting in one of the positions stuey or elyounoussi played where he would get license to roam

15mil is not fuck all to us though is it?our record signing is only 20.

we signed che for 15 m from Birmingham off the back of a 22 goal season at brum, imo we did that hoping he could be our goal scorer at prem level, he started poorly lost his place to Danny ings who adams was in front of when we signed him and hasn’t ever looked like a good finisher. Red tinted specs point to his other attributes which is fair enough but but Shane long had attributes too. Both bring something to the team sure but both are also wasteful and not to be relied on.. since we bought adams for 15m (which is a fair amount for us) on the back of that 22 goal season do you think he’s. Been a success? Serious question cos we have a chance to get our money back and try again if the answer is no?

Broja is a kid still and his potential is insane if you can’t see he’s got a much higher ceiling then adams I don’t know what to say to you. The fact that you got West Ham Everton and some Spanish side looking at broja whilst adams get forest says something too

The overating of che adams is crazy imo he’s part of the problem not the solution, saying he’s the best of our strikers is like picking your favourite STD. all he’s done in his time here has proved he’s gonna get about 5-8 goals a season which sucks for a striker. the money we get for him could sign the next Danny ings type that could actually score goals for us

We don’t really have anything under Ralph imo.. he doesn’t make us hard to beat or tough defensively., yet we also really struggle to create a lot..could understand it if we were forsaking one for the other but we are not really doing anything well we have been terrible for ages now bar that little period over Xmas last year seems more like a lucky blip tbh

I think the most annoying thing with our business is the most obvious positions to strengthen at least to me were striker and number 10s we have spent 50 odd million and still haven’t really come close to solving the problems .. it’s all good saying we are waiting for deals near the end but it’s gonna cost us dearly in the meantime.. we need a prolific striker ready to go and a lallana/mane type number ten which we haven’t really got right since those two left

I think if we could swap broja for kwp I would take that deal.. we need a striker he is one we have been interested in and tbh we prob wouldn’t go as high as the asking price. it’s all in theory but that we could get a 30m rated striker and invest a bit cheaper say 10-15 in a kwp replavemenr and still have tino to come back.. prob won’t happen but I think would be a decent deal

With delap and broja you are paying for the potential really they are kids that are standout youngsters at clubs with the best academies.. also I find it weird how some of our fanbase have some weird fetish for players who have just got a lot of games and proven they ain’t gonna score much like che and long for example. carillo would probably score 5 or 6 goals a season too if he played most of the games and he’s a laughing stock on here also didn’t carillo score quite early in his saints career before being binned off.. whilst it took che months and months to get his first goal. just saying for me adams like long before him just isn’t a player who can be relied upon to get the goals we need so if we can make a profit on him and roll the dice on someone who can I’d say go for it

This, for the money we paid for him I wouldn’t say he has been a success. chips in the odd goal 5-8 a season man.. If we can take a profit on him we can try again to find a prolific striker
