  1. he looks great on youtube.. boufal type skills and looks to have a really powerful physique too
  2. Would be more concerned with striker at the moment.. we only really have ings as a decent option now and he has fitness worries..long is long and Austin needs it on a plate.. Me personally I don't want Armstrong out of the side.. really good player imo and it's nice to have someone with a bit of intelligence in the attack, as even though redmond is vying for our player of the year his decision making can still suck
  3. I was reading through the Brentford forum on him, a lot of posters saying he was the best to come through the youth squad in their lifetime.. a lot of posters also thought he was a cert for going to a top 6 side. even a booby Moore comparison.. he's also meant to have pace. so sounds pretty interesting
  4. feel sad about this one. I always had high hopes for him, just thought he didn't really get a run in the team going and his confidence in full flow.. also very annoying losing him when we have the dynamic duo of Austin and long getting games over him..its a bit like having elyounoussi start when we could have had boufal.. anyway, guess will have to give Ralph the benefit of the doubt on this as I do believe he will be great for us, lets just hope we actually bring in a decent replacement.. all the best in Italy Manolo and thanks for everything
  5. Don't think it helped us that lookman had a cracking game in the cup at the weekend. Silva sounds like he wants to keep him. Shame as he looks very fast and skilfull.. Poulsen rumour sounds very interesting though to me.. sounds like he would really suit Ralph's pressing game works very hard good in the air and good at linking play
  6. try looking at it in a fair way. if you judge his goals scored compared to starts instead of pointless last 15 min sub appearances he scored 4 in 10 in premier starts for us 2016 2017. 11 starts in prem 5 goals. and this season 1 goal in four games. certainly a lot better then we would get from the likes of long which is somewhere between a goal every two and half games or just over
  7. Have to disagree with a good player not wanting to crime and risk relegation.. Ralph didn't mind coming who had a decent profile on paper. And for plenty of players from abroad it's chance to shine in the best league in the world, a more likely path to the first team then if they joined a bigger club, Also there maybe relegation clauses which could work in the interest of both club and player..
  8. please Ralph get long and elyounoussi away from the pitch, Austin not much better. not really impressed with any of the youngsters today but saying that after they came on we could not seem to retain any possession and long was probably one of the worst culprits in not being able to link play or hold the ball.. gotta give a big shout out to Redmond though. our best player by a country mile today
  9. couldnt agree more, nail on head post. and what makes it more frustrating is him being frozen out whilst we use far bigger liabilitys like Austin and long. you pretty much know what you are going to get with those two and its not good, whilst gabbiadini I don't think we have even scratched the surface of his potential, you can tell he has a good long range shot on him but we haven't really had much chance to see it
  10. I'd absolutely love boufal to be brought back and have a fair crack under a good manager tbh.. lets be honest here he was no worse redmond last year and look how much readers has improved!. Boufal at his best can do things we haven't seen since MLT look at the goals verses Sunderland and wba it's the type of talent you need to be absolutely gifted to pull off and his dribbling can be that way too.. why not see what a super gifted player can do under a great coach ?
  11. Doesn't really make sense for McCarthy though.. as he's totally chanceless of playing first team at Liverpool bar injury
  12. I would be sad to see Armstrong drop out.. kinda feel like he's the one that can offer end product more so then Redmond tbh decent goal threat. keeps the ball well and actually has some intelligence which is pretty rare in our squad lol
  13. If we do sign a pacy player? Does he walk into the first team. I mean in our current formation it's hard to drop ings. Redmond although a bit hit n miss has had a decent season and suppose one of the first names on team sheet.. and Armstrong tends to offer a bit of guile and doesn't just run into players or give the ball away which is refreshing.. maybe the going to Ralph's other 4222 formation could free up another first team pacy place.. But also if would be good anyway to get another attacking pacy singer and striker we feel down to the barebones if we were to get injury to ings or Redmond
  14. Cm is probably our strongest position though really. We might not have quite a tank in the wanyama mould but hoj rom and lemina can all do a job here. I'd be more concentrating on either cb another attacking winger/creative midfielder or striker.. can you imigine joe up sht creek we would be if ings or Redmond get injured having To rely on Austin long or elyounoussi etc is just scary
  15. I think one of the issues is the last two games we have far to many players that when they receive the ball the move just breaks down.. the likes of long, elyounoussi valery. We need some quality to go with the pressing and hard work else we are just giving the ball away all the time
  16. Just being honest not trying to slag of Ralph, but freezing out Cedric gabbi and possibly bertrand is weakening the team in the short term. It's all good giving youngsters a chance if they are good enough but valery looks completely out of his depth to me nowhere near the level the likes of shaw and chambers were at when they started playing full back. I have no problem with obafemi on the other hand. If we are gonna go for pace might as well use him as long is pretty much guaranteed not to score. Still winds me up gabbi not getting game time over him and Austin even if he's not in the plans and is going to be sold I don't agree with this decision
  17. Gotta say whilst I like Ralph as much as the next man his team selections and subs were dodgy to say the least We are ending up with way too many headless chickens on the pitch with zero intelligence. Obvious choices to change the game would have been to get ings and Armstrong on.. but instead we get another two headless chickens on with valery and long. Elyounoussi is far far worse then boufal..and doesn't make any successfull dribbles How long gets anywhere near the pitch is a joke. Redmond looks back to his old self last two games. Long and elyounoussi shouldn't even be looked at as attacking options if you ask me.. how these two get on the pitch before ings gabbi and Armstrong is borderline retarded bar resting players
  18. Totally get what your saying but it's not like our season rests on getting something out of city either, we should have enough to avoid relegation under ralph. Hatred for Liverpool comes from the way they took from us over and over again and tapping up vvd who the acts like a complete a-hole to get his own way. Seing Them get rewarded for this by winning titles is not something I wanna see
  19. It's probably really bad to think this but part of me wants City to get the three points today.. really don't want the scousers winning the league with vvd etc..
  20. This.. pretty much what I was saying in the summer. It's money we could have used to buy another attacking flair player or centre back- and how much are we missing that now whilst gunn sits on the bench ?
  21. For me Armstrong was our best player.. his use of the ball was always clever and didn't lose it very often especially compared to others,, sprayed a couple of nice balls out wide from deep, made a great tackle on the full back which gave Redmond a strike on goal. And tbh always looked calm snd like he had time on the ball, also a really nicely struck shot in the second half.. thought he had a great game
  22. Angers me tbh that long is higher in the pecking order then gabbi..utterly useless when he came on with first touch like a shovel.i think this substitution for ings pretty much killed us.
  23. Lack of quality tonight really.. lemina's passing was absolutely woeful, Redmond back to hesitant self on majority of occasions.. Think the bright lights were Armstrong who used the ball very well all night and was the one that seemed to bring composure and calmness.. and also targetts delivery again looked good.. just a shame it was shayne long up front where most of his good deliverys came in.
  24. Still think there's a real player here and it's a bit of a waste if we lose him... clearly offers a mile more then Austin and long and also has probably the best technique from all our attackers..seems to get unjustified stick really.. it's more down to him being out of the team then not being decent it's difficult to make impact in fifteen minutes off the bench and the people look at the stats and judge him as a non scoring forward a bit skewed imo
  25. Absolutely.
