  1. Bit of a shame to lose boufal and tadic whilst the worse of the culprits Redmond remains. At least boufal had skills and unpredictability in his locker, Redmond just stops and lays it off for someone else hardly ever trying to beat his man. Not really what u want from a creative player.. I just hope if boufal is off we will replace with shaqiri or one of sisto or promes now
  2. With it looking like boufal is still out of favour or going we are gonna need another else we are gonna be stuck with Redmond all season. Will also be nice to have a couple of wide attackers that can score goals something we have lacked a lot since mane left, At least shaqiri has this in his locker that he is not a weak shooter like tadic and Redmond
  3. More excited for shaqiri then elyounoussi. Has all the tools this guy, savage shooting pace and power. Think he needs a team where he can stand out and be one of the main men and he will flourish.. being a squad player at Liverpool would be Bayern and inter all over again
  4. U sure he's that quick? Doesn't look any faster then boufal from the vids?
  5. Don't think mo looks that fast tbh, seems like another tadic type with maybe a better strike on him.problem is we needed to upgrade this position without tadic leaving, so still feel like we need another signing of this kind. I'm all for shaquiri, has all the attributes we need pace, power vicious shooting , know Hughes well and with him and mo bringing creativity and goals and Redmond nowhere near the team we might start getting somewhere
  6. Think he would be a superb signing for us tbh. Pace, power has a vicious shot. Thought he looked super last night, good to see him roaming around and not just stuck out wide looks to suit him much better when he's getting involved all over the pitch
  7. Yeah but Maddison was lighting up the championship is young with plenty of potential and championship player of the year, whilst Armstrong was a bit part squad player for Celtic and is 26 with most Celtic fans thinking it's a great deal. If you can't see which one is a more exciting signing I don't know what else to say
  8. my arsenal supporting friend was waxing lyrical about wilshere last season. could not enough great things about him so wouldnt be too disapointed if we are in for him
  9. trouble is i think they sold the idea to gao that them remaining running things as it was so succesfull in the past was the way to go.. the only football brain we have is les reed
  10. dont really see alcacer as a player we need personally .. from my research on him he doesnt seem to have that much pace skill or obviously bring a physical dimension seems more of a poacher who will not bring much else to the table.. would rather keep gabbi personally
  11. spent a lot of time reading barca fans opinion of him last night, they thought he was pretty much just a poacher with not a lot else to his game (obviously they are spoilt but) very up and down opinions, everytime he scored opinion changed etc, but if he is just a poacher finisher that doesnt bring a lot else to his game wouldnt we be better sticking with gabbi who still has great potential anyway if we can find the right way to play to his strengths?
  12. think he would be a huge upgrade on redmond. definitely adds more goals, can see why big clubs like bayern saw potential in him at one stage theres obviously a good player in shaqiri very tricky low centre of gravity and built like a tank for his size
  13. https://youtu.be/WOujW5mM0wM Awesome shaqiri vid
  14. preferred the koeman seasons to poch myself. great season the one we were in the champions league spots
  15. alejandro gomez hegazi sisto banega
  16. why is everyone so crazy over jokanovic? is his record much better then eddie howe or adkins ?
  17. how many chairmen do get other jobs in football? most club owners will want to run things their own way not buy a club to let nicola run. Im kind of amazed NC isnt loved by many, like dark munster said above if it wasnt for him convincing marcus to buy us we could have really been up the creek without a paddle, the way he ran the club was fantastic taking us to back to back promotions, he had the right ammount of ruthlessness and took no crap, made the right managerial choices at the right times-look how sacking adkins for poch worked out. all in all fantastic chairman if you ask me and you could feel the ambition drain away once he was gone
  18. sounds likes hughes is a fan of him here http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11701/11133697/xherdan-shaqiri-was-a-steal-says-stoke-boss-mark-hughes if the 12m clause is true could well be on our radar.
  19. who would everyone prefer if we had the choice out of sisto, promes or shaquiri? think im just about leaning sisto. looks to have quite good use of the ball imo although promes does look more direct and score more goals
  20. would rather get rid of the total b**l****ter krueger. still on the fence with reed has done some good things as well. plus maybe some of the sales were forced on him by kat etc
  21. Really can't stand this guy, don't see any ambition in him since he's been here, seems his only reason for being here is to try deflect questions and feed us utter BS. Compare him with cortese is like night and day
  22. That's what the likes of Krueger want you to believe that we can't keep unhappy players and vvd is the main cause of our bad season. We have gone from having a ton of players the top 6 sides would like to hardly anyone left that they would like now, the tap has run dry. I think this is more the reason for our dip in form rather then the unhappy players excuse. We had a good run of replacing the players we sold but you can always expect to unearth vvd and name types, sometimes they are not gonna work out that well and you get the likes of redmonds carillo's abd hoedts which is pretty much where we are at now.
  23. Would still take him all day long over Redmond, redmond has to be one of the most frustrating players ever in my opinion. Hardly ever makes the right decisions
  24. im a big fan of gabbiadini and think he is basically suffering from lack of game time more then him being not good enough.. think there is a super player in there..my italian friend who is a napoli fan said he is best playing on the right and in his appearence yesterday looked very good when getting down that side. hes got all the right attributes makes inteligent runs is a instinctive finisher and you also tell he has a cracking long range shot on him.. i can understand hughes going with the likes of austin and long over him as players he can trust whilst we are in the relegation battle, but next season would love to see gabbiadini becoming a regular starter.
