Thing with the so called shit transfer policy isnt it pretty always going to work out this way with the way we operate? . We sign mostly a bunch of unknowns or ones with potential the ones who turn out any good leave and we are stuck with the rest .. just seems a obvious result to how we operate

If we are selling our very best players with a view to using that money to actually strengthen the first team .I would be fine with that . The way we do it though is just dipping streight back into the bargain bucket it’s not increasing the quality of player we buy That guy in the fan forum asked the question of if we sell fernandes can we at least buy someone good for 30 million .. this got dismissed but in general he’s got a point if it increases the quality we can buy ok then .. we operate like someone who just won 100 pound on a ten pound scratch card .. right let’s and go and buy another ten scratch cards

Not sure why lavia and livramento are related to us buying mf they where sold when we went down and he was purchased back in the premiership .. that aside I don’t see what’s to celebrate with getting the odd fernandes or lavia you make 30-40 million on we lose most of that by signing your bbds and Charlie Taylor’s anyway and it’s obviously making us weaker which is why we keep getting relegated I know it’s hard to compete but this profit focus of ours is getting us nowhere

It’s not my idea of really working. Losing the few decent signings/or academy prospects nearly every year just weakens the first team. Sales of the good signings are paying for the ones that don’t work out it’s very 2 steps forward 3 steps back . we never really try to build a good team out of any decent players we aquire we buy potential but we don’t get the benefit of the potential on the field .. Football is getting totally broken atm look at the Isak situation at Newcastle it’s getting to the stage that soon the buying club will dictate how much they pay for the player say for example they only offered 70 m for isak then he strikes and only wants Liverpool .. what they gonna do ??

Think he will go myself ..if the board really wanted to keep him we could just say 100 m or piss off.. instead we just seem like we will negotiate at a fair price

I’m not really sure what to make of him .. he actually reminds me a little of belmadii on the YouTube clips in style not sure if that’s a good thing .. seems to kinda play like a traditional number 10 which is a bit of a dying breed these days .. if anything looks more like someone who would be a replacement for fernandes then a winger don’t think we really had anyone like this who has worked out that well since berkovic

Who cares ? Surely this is good news for us ? Doesn’t seem to be any of rumours regarding dibling . If we somehow grow the balls to keep him here this season we might even be able to get him to sign for longer if we get back to the premier league .I just hope we don’t do any more of these silly loan deals ourself with our bigger players like we did with ramsdale or alcaraz last year

Baz made a good save yesterday and has looked ok in pre season but I think it’s a bit blinkered to be putting utter confidence in him as our number one this season . I mean he had worse save stats with us for two years running and wasn’t great on loan either .every one thinking he was terrible was for a reason .Just seems a unnecessary gamble and I would hundred percent been trying to get johansson if it was down to me .

Well gonna be hard to not play manning from the start next week after that he was great . Downs looks lightning fast reminds me a bit of broja in a good way, didn’t really get much going for him but love the pace . I’m one of bazunu’s biggest haters usually but very important save and actually got down to it well which is usually one of his biggest flaws .

Trouble with this club is it seems the focus is more on devolopong youth and player trading. but all of this gets us pretty much nowhere in terms of results we let all the decent players go get stuck with the average ones rinse repeat

I disagree with this, if he has a poor season in the championship by going through the motions as you say who’s gonna want him then ? We should remember this instead of not wanting disgruntled players . If he goes through the motions it’s his reputation that drops like a brick .. he will have no choice but to try his best just like schneiderlin did

Johansson is available to leave stoke, this is such a obvious upgrade that 90 percent of fans would probably agree on .. why gamble on bazunu after he’s been one of the worst shot stoppers in the divisions for last three years ..?

Yup if you remember with van dijk we made a lot of fuss about him being tapped up .. nowadays it seems to be totally common practice . even still I can’t just agree that we should make it so easy for anyone who wants to leave .. fernandes for example if he goes for any less then 50 m this is just becoming ridicolous
