I rated him .. had a really good eye for a through ball and was good on the ball . Think the form of Lallana and jay rod hurt his chances a lot with us

Not meaning to be negative here but is it just me that feels like there’s some carry over that is slightly dictating to who will be used by still I mean for example when juric was here he fancied a few players that where out of favour before with still it feels a bit like he’s been told who’s going that bazunu is going to be number 1 stephens maybe too .I’m not saying it’s a good or bad thing but you don’t really see any surprises who still fancies that the previous didn’t ?

Personally I think it would have been good to try and bed in our cbs with more potential like him quarshie and Sanda (gone on loan ) getting them nicely up to speed and devoloping partnerships ready for the premiership has more benefit for the future then stephens. Personally think we should could keep Ronnie edwards . Sure he hasn’t been great so far but he’s been playing a different system to the 4 at the back he was playing at QPR. QPR rated him so highly there must be a very decent player in there and he’s one of the more likely ones that could make the transition from championship to premier league

Weather you think we have had a good window or not this is a real pointless gamble to keep bazunu in as number one . In close games a good keeper will stop wins turning into draws or draws turning into losses . With bazunu in goal you always come away thinking should he have done better Majority of fans would see this as one of the most important positions to upgrade many would even prefer McCarthy it’s really odd that the club are ploughing such faith into him the likes of edozie didn’t get these countless chances

Hundred percent this.. I think azaz behind him in a 4231 would be ideal for downs azaz plays the kinda through balls he would thrive on

Whilst it is annoying selling fernandes I think you could argue that assists/goals wise that azaz and fellows are more proven then dibling and Fernandes. We don’t really know for certain how well they would have panned out for us in the championship both looked silky at a higher level but for actual goal contributions neither where great. This might actually work out more productive . Biggest gripe for me is the loaning out ramsdale and persisting with bazunu as number one we could do so much better then baz

Really like the look of him he’s very diminutive.. first touch looks excellent and he looks good recieving the ball under pressure twisting and turning a little modric like in the way he does this from deep .. no idea if he’s seen as a starter over downes etc but he’s a lot more cultured

Yeah probably the best way as long as still is ready to move away from the back 3 I gotta say though archer looked great in the cup in a 2 having someone to play off don’t think being a lone striker suits him at all. he’s probably our best striker having azaz behind him could also work and be the type of service he would thrive on

How do u guys see us setting up with azaz then ? it’s difficult to go away from the 3 up top without sacrificing Robinson ?

Not sure about him being one of the best players in the league tbh boro fans seemed to think he was a bit divisive but reasonably pleased as long as we don’t go and sell Matty now . wondering how he’s going to fit into the system actually ? Why ? It was nothing but good times for us under his guidance took us up two divisions, made strong calls like bringing in poch brought in great scouting like Mitchell. Had ambitions and stopped us being treated like some soft feeder club It’s not some fluke or coincidence we did well under him he run the place like De Niro in casino and wouldn’t settle for failure It’s honestly mental to me that some people still don’t appreciate what he brought .. all we are now is some shit conveyer belt club where players come in hope of getting a move to a better club

Was the best thing at the club since le tissier. What a difference it made to have someone who actually gave a shit about what happened on the pitch and wasn’t just interested in profits and values .. the way the club is run at the moment there’s absolutely nothing to hope for in the future .. people getting happy about it being good business when we sell our best players is about all there is gonna be to be happy about

Yup I would say he flatters to deceive too he was good running with the ball and dribbling early in the season but very little end product really and his goals where tap ins too .. think he had no better G/A stats then sulemana did and sulemana played half the amount of Tyler .. what irritates me with him is he just seems to have to have instantly got all billy big bollocks on us and thought he was too good for us .. I’m sure we tried to offer him s new deal in the premiership but his head god turned that he was better for us in just half a season or less

It’s a horrible reflection of todays football When a youth player we raised from a child acts in the way he has .. you could argue he was lucky to get the amount of starts he did last season when he hardly featured at all in the championship. all we really got from him was half a season as he pretty much downed tools after martin left . In that short space of half a season he’s decided he’s too good for us, refused to sign a new contract weakening our bargaining position and it seems sulked his way into the Everton move .. really classy from someone who was sung about as one of our own

Can’t complain with that .. it hurt us with both Stewart and downs unavailable we did miss the focal point in attack .. Robinson was great, Fraser showing he still delivers with the end product .. and touch wood bazunu is so far looking a lot better then he has previously
