The most disappointing thing for me is that the for the first time in a long time the football side of things has been really clicking , even when we made 5-6 changes for sone games there was hardly any difference in performance and results, tonda was getting the best out of everyone and sports too was doing sone excellant work in the market . What’s happened has happened now But there’s no sensible reason to destroy all this good work and what we have at the club at the moment, if we stick with Tonda and spors we will be a big favourite to get promoted next season and like guan says 8th gets playoffs .. let’s not give the media abd the people who want blood a scapegoat and completely shoot ourselves im the foot now . I honestly couldn’t give a fuck what other teams fans think of us either we have had our punishment now , let’s not punish ourselves even more by sacking tonda

Well you could argue without tonda we wouldn’t have been in the play offs anyway ? Look at how will still had us performing. yet moronic supporters want to cry about this and spin the lottery wheel again . get over it and let’s go again next season but it would be hundred times better if we have the man that has took us 20 games unbeaten .

The hate against tonda is turning my stomach a bit, if we ended up just getting a fine and the sanction didn’t go against us nobody would be saying a bad word against him .. because it hasn’t gone our way everyone wants him gone. We only scraped into the playoffs because of the unbeaten run he took us on anyway without that we would still be in the champion next season anyway. Pressurising the club into sacking him cos you want blood is not the answer if you want results next season

He’s obviously in on this in some way as the information must be used to give him a tactical advantage ..? Can’t see him being here next season now . To be honest though it’s really not a good look on our part, can see why boro are angry . We are now moaning about boro moaning but gotta say whoever made the decision to do this has brought it on

I feel we gave them way too much respect in the first half.. we didn’t try to play football at all and it was just all long ball up the field and give possession back . As soon as the second half started we tried to get on the ball and get .our own game going it was much improved , and we had a couple of decent chances to win it .. side note I don’t think you can really point fingers at the likes of azaz or larin . just hoofing it up to larin was pretty much our only attempt to play football in the first half and most of the time he’s got a defender pulling his shirt or making niggling fouls on him

We are making boro look like Man City .. need to try and get some passing going not just play long ball

Awful getting overrun can hardly get on the ball. We are just pumping it up to larin and he’s not doing great

Anyone else starting to come around to the idea that Cyle can do well at premier league level ? I honestly couldn’t be much more impressed at the moment he may lack a bit of first touch bit he just gives you so much and most of his attributes look like they would also give prem defenders a problem too . We do need to make some striker signings shoukd we go up but at the kind of 20m budget we usually seem to stick to I’m not sure that’s even guaranteed to get better then Larin

Well we have won 8 out of our last ten games the two draws you mention being either side of the city cup tie which we can kinda put down to having a eye on that and fatigue for Ipswich . We pretty have much have been tearing up the league

Not sure what you mean we have been tearing up the league and still finished higher then them from miles behind . Our form and squad is on a different planet whilst theirs is mediocre . They should be fearing us not the other way around I’d be disappointed with a draw at their place personally we are clearly superior to them at this point

I do agree with you we play well on the break tbh, but at the same time we are the form team with the better players and majority of the squad are all buzzing and playing well, we have arguably been better away from home of late. I’d expect us to smash boro if this was a league game but yeah I’m sure tonda will get it right

Kinda disagree, our massive unbeaten run is obviously no fluke, don’t see why we should change anything and turn it into a cagey couple of games .. we are in way better form then boro might as well just play our normal game and hopefully go into the second leg with a couple of goal advantage

It’s quite insane how most of us where so wrong on Larin, he’s actually looking like the ideal centre forward at the moment he’s big, he’s fast , bullies defenders, his movement is excellant and seems to put himself in real predatory positions like today, honestly feel like he would be in real serious contention for player of the season if we had him since the start .even the games he doesn’t score he absolutely works his ass off whatever league we are in he’s a no brainer

Lol it’s a good job Peretz has plenty of credit in the bank could you imigine if bazunu conceded that goal 🤣.. brilliant save in the first half by peretz though. The Stewart goal was lovely close control Larin is just on fire atm if we had him at the start of the season I could see him being in the player of the year discussion

I genuinely feel some of the stuff like bazunu in particular and possibly Bree could have been carry over advice given to spors. he wouldn’t have seen a lot of bazunu himself as he was on loan to liege the previous season, it’s funny how project bazunu seemed to be forced on every manager we had too, surely he couldn’t have fooled everyone .. Will still you can kind of the logic in at the time .and I guess he did actually bring in a cf the problem is it was downs. What you say is right though if these mistakes didn’t happen it would have been automatic

Been a little disappointed with Charles lately don’t get me wrong he’s popped up with some important goals for us .and probably has one of the highest ceilings out of our midfield bar jander maybe , but he can be a bit sloppy at times with his passing and I think we look less solid with him in the team. The strange thing is I thought he was signed more as a defensive midfielder but his skillset is probably looking more like a 10 in the azaz role for me

I’d go with azaz cup goal .. when you consider the occasion the little spin first touch and he knew exactly what he was doing it wasn’t just a let have a pop

Tonda was a very brave choice, most of the fan base didn’t want him due to lack of experience and after we had just failed with another really young manager in will still it looked crazy for them to double down on it. as I said in the post above I think there may well have been some carry over influence regarding the bazunu decision and other stuff so maybe spors was badly advised here. in general though he’s made a load of cracking signings and also rectified the mistakes in January so thumbs up

We should just rest key players and get fresh for the playoffs now .. azaz got smashed up yesterday in a game that it probably wouldn’t have got us promoted even if we won .. we have no one to fear in the playoffs better to just get fresh and ready then worrying about anything else

Yup also still had to cope with the changes like having matty fernandes etc at the start of the season then having a different squad after the window

Don’t think any of us would have chosen tonda over will still at the start of the season, don’t get me wrong there still sone bad mistakes like not sorting out the goalkeeper or striker positions which where costly, I wonder if some of this stuff was due to bad advice from people at the club longer ? Spors saying that building squad being like a art looked laughable at one point but he’s put everything right by the end of the January window at least and now we are flying . last thing we need right now imo is spors Fucking off to juve or some other big club and taking the likes of tonda with him we haven’t had any stability with the likes of shields and Wilcox jumping ship and spors could be very integral in keeping tonda and sone of the players signed under him His knowledge of the German market in particular has been excellent quite exciting to see how his recruitment would be if we get promoted
