Think we really need this guy to stick around and finally get stability on that front . Him being here next season could also be a massive factor with tonda too imo , you could argue tonda kinda owes him after the faith spors showed in him

Whilst most people going for jander who was obviously great. for me I’d probably give it to azaz . Absolute worldie goal and not only that the disallowed Leo goal was all down to his play and perfect as usual through ball .. didn’t he also put fellows in on goal too ? I said before I think he’s probably better suited to when we are playing on the break so could actually be a real star for us in the premiership

Second goal is down to not closing him down though sure it’s a good strike but i doubt he even has the idea to have the strike if he’s got anyone rushing out to him .: we where to busy defending deep which opened it up for him

I just think because no one came towards him it just opened up the oppurtunity where he thinks fuck It I’ll have a go .. does that happen if someone’s running out towards him fast ?

Fantastic effort gutted for azaz deserved to take us through with that class strike .second half we tended to get pinned in which we didn’t do in the first half or vs arsenal so couldn’t get on the counter .both city goals feel like they shouldn’t have happened big deflection for first and second due to no one closing down

Peretz bree Thb. Stephens hopefully welli Downes jander bragg felliows. Scienza Larin/Stewart kinda harsh to think of dropping azaz but he has looked sluggish last couple of games and might be better to go with the high energy three of downes jabser and Bragg here .. genuinely don’t mind out of Stewart and larin larin has been absolutely awesome tbh but Ross is super clinical and has played a big part in us getting this far so I wouldn’t be begrudge him starting if tonda decides that

Gotta give credit to hodgson I think that’s the Best a team has set up against us for a long time they where happy knocking it around the back and trying to draw us out and they also finding good space when they did attack .. think tonda countered it well near the end when we went two up top . Few poor performances thought azaz and Charles where pretty poor today . Looking like millwall are gonna take the second spot now although maybe if the shackles come off Leicester and Oxford and they manage to pull a upset we would have a chance again.. a bit gutted after the amount of momentum we had going .. will have to smash City now to make up for it 😜

Without wanting to tinker too much it would be interesting to give archer a audition on the right .. that right wing is the only position I feel like no one’s fully claimed fellows could be a option for city good game vs arsenal but as we know can’t score , matsuki isn’t really a wide player and doesn’t really have the pace for it but still contributes in other ways .. but if we could have two pacy wide goal threats for the city match it could actually be ideal for playing on the break .

To be honest I don’t mind us resting a few key players like scienza azaz etc with an eye on keeping the best players fresh for city . The whole squad is contributing at the moment so there isn’t much drop off in performance, could see us giving archer another start whilst he’s hot

End of the day though he’s not really a lone striker .. if he was played in a partnership with someone like larin we would have seen a different archer. I think it’s getting difficult for short strikers in todays game as if you play with one cf it doesn’t really work for Them

Vital goal from Archer today I think In his time here he’s been misused for most of it, he was never gonna be a good lone striker but if you play him in a partnership with a target man would be a different story he’s always been a good finisher and his time at boro wasn’t some fluke

Not really wanting to take on this argument but just because Bragg is doing a ok job in a great Southampton side where he is surrounded by quality for the league players doesn’t really make him a good championship player .. do you think he would be all that if you threw him in Portsmouth or Blackburn teams ?

Tbh he looks pretty average to me, don’t see any attitubutes in him that are superior to the likes of downes jander or Charles and he’s pretty small and weak looking too . If we get promoted I actually think we need more physical midfielders then downes and jander too

I think this is a really really tough decision, Stewart has scored in the last 2 rounds cup so there’s a little bit of he deserves to start for the cup there. Larin has been the better player of late in the championship a lot of it is down to his work rate and off the ball play he really puts a shift in and busts a gut for the team you could argue his pace would be a big plus if hitting city city on the counter attack for Stewart maybe you could argue his better touch and more clinical traits might be more suited to premier league opposition where we might only get a couple of chances is Stewart more trustworthy ? It’s really hard actually I’m pretty torn here

Well done archer on the goal and assist can only be a good thing to get his confidence up as well .. gives a different option if we need it. Larin gotta be motm for work rate alone was everywhere even back defending. Good to see wellington back as well. 3-0 win without scienza and azaz even starting .. we are just cooking no matter what team we put out . is breezy ok though he’s one we can’t really afford to lose ?

Whilst the stats are usually a good indicator I’m not sure this matches up in the same way it does with baz . Looking back through the ramsdale thread most people seemed to think he was super and how it was a shame we finally got the gkposition right but in a shit team .. I can’t be bothered to go back and analyse every goal but I’m sure the suicide passing around the back line didn’t help his stats

Personally I think ramsdale was more important to us then fernandes was .. fernandes only had 3 goals 3 assists whilst being good on the eye his play didn’t really help us a lot .. Rambo stopped us getting some absolute hammerings and was a big factor in the games we did pick up points

One thing you gotta love is at the moment we can make a load of changes and there’s hardly any drop off in performance , near enough the whole group is contributing , there’s hardly even any scapegoating from the fans. Gotta give props to tonda for this

Best game jander has had for ages imo tons of quick breaks came from him and played a lovely ball near the end

I think this is pretty close to what I’d go with too peretz impact is so key to the succcess we are having so peretz would be my choice too Leo is a joy to watch and beats players for fun and is a pacy outlet and super important player for us , I’d say the one slight criticism is that for the amount of great positions he gets himself in his goal and assists are actually pretty low azaz goal tally is almost double and it’s not like Leo doesn’t get enough chances

Bit harsh . Ramsdale was our best player last year., he’s a good keeper.that said he deserted the sunk ship and now we have peretz who is arguably better, but if we hadn’t found a diamond like him I think most of us would be welcoming ramsdale back with open arms
