  1. Cool, the channel finder wasn't up before. However all it says for Comcast is that service 'varies by region'. It's still not showing up where it is supposed to in the on demand menu under sports and leisure... I'm holding out hope it'll magically appear by the game tomorrow. Otherwise it's back to the computer.
  2. Which link? Thanks for the heads up on the On Demand mate, will check it out in a minute!
  3. It's less than 2 days and Comcast xfinity is still unknown... Dammit!
  4. Woy: "He's been so enthusiastic. He's been like a young boy with a new toy ever since he joined us. "We believe in him. Funnily enough, when he came on the first thing Gary Neville said to me was that he's going to get us a goal. He almost got us three! He certainly got us a very good one and was very close to two others. "I'm deighted for him. He's a man who's worked very hard for his chance and done it the hard way. Now he's crowned his debut with a goal. "I think the 15 Premier League goals he scored last season told us a lot. Technically he's a very good player, and he's got great composure in front of goal as we saw today. "I'm happy for him, and happy that his goal gave us the victory." http://www.football365.com/news/21554/8870916/International-friendly-Roy-Hodgson-hails-England-hero-Rickie-Lambert
  5. Have you managed to find out which channel we are on, as part of the vague 'extra time' service? I've been searching on xfinity for ages and can't find anything online either...
  6. Yep, also scored on his England debut. 2-0 against the frogs. 1992 I think. Definitely a saints player still.
  7. What an absolute legend, I'm so proud of him! He united wembley in song and saintsweb in celebration, he's a hero!
  8. Absolutely! Good moments have been thin on the ground in recent times.
  9. I trust him to deliver a hell of a lot more than any other current England striker, that's for sure.
  10. Match winner, England striker, Rickie Lambert!
  11. Arghh!!! 2 good chances there! Look good on the highlights at least...
  12. Haha!!! Holy **** that was satisfying!
  13. 2-1 He needs to come on and win it for us now...
  14. Just this thread, or the whole forum? You appear to have wandered into an online football forum by mistake. I must warn you that it's full of threads started by people who share information and ideas, which then creates opinions and debate. Be cautious.
  15. 4 posts until completely off topic post. Whilst I doubt this is a record, it is slightly depressing as it inevitably leads to many, many more off topic posts. Article was a good read though, I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do for us this season.
  16. No, it was actors paid to make us think it did. At least you are questioning the official version of events that's a good start. Nice comments though, especially as he really didn't have to say any of it.
  17. Really? How long is this scarf? Pull on your end and see if it moves at his end.
  18. Haha! That and the fact that they didn't.
  19. It would be a sad day. Every team has a nickname, some fit with the american style naming, some don't but they are still completely separate.. The Portsmouth Pompey, anyone? Some of my american friends don't understand that we have an actual club name and a nickname, trying to get them to stop saying the Southampton Saints is next to impossible. Even the word Saints as opposed to The Saints is difficult for them...
  20. Troll.
  21. You misunderstood what Turkish-bashing was, didn't you?
