And if you had really just moderated a thread as skillfully as tokyos has been insinuating, then there would be more tell tale signs of said actions on the keys. Utter ********. Beckham did immeasurably more for LA than Owen did for his last 3 teams. Starting most games for one. Being the best player on the field most of the time for another. And don't whine about the standard of MLS if haven't watched any games.

That game summed up much of our season, to be fair. And for that reason 14th is about right. We had all the possession. We had a few decent chances on goal but only scored one. Looked okay defensively for much of the game, yet conceded a simple goal. A stop/start end to a stop/start season, in a way it never really felt like the season got going fully for me. We played well but had a horrible opening streak of games, which meant it took an age to rack up points and get out of the relegation zone. Then we improved gradually only to change the manager mid way through the season. We've been in lower mid table form ever since ,it's just seemed like we have been in a holding pattern waiting for the break and next season. Obviously we had to secure safety and that took a while to be rubber stamped, but I don't think anyone at the club really thought relegation was going to happen after those big victories over city and chelsea. We are in definite need of a summer of rest for the players, and organisation for the manager and squad. I for one am looking forward greatly to next season. COYS!
