I think a positive from all of this is that our thinness of squad is showing at just the right time before the transfer window, perhaps persuading the powers that be to hold onto players like Cork, add a decent keeper as backup, and get in some more bodies in positions like left back to avoid resorting to Fox. I think it would be just our style to now get a draw or better v Man City but have put this down as a loss (just like I did with the Villa game - thanks bookies)
