He also said that Adkins' bringing along the fantastic Luke Shaw was now also destroyed, as if Shaw will now automatically be rubbish under MP. It was embarrassing. Muddled logic, limited brain power, unfamiliarity with an atlas. And he sounded like a yokel.

Personally have no problem with Cortese's ambition and Pochettino doesn't sound a bad option except the language barrier, which is not insurmountable. But the manner in which Cortese sacked Adkins, and probably played with his head these last weeks when he must have known something was up, was pretty low. And it turns us from a club which was gaining a lot of popularity regarding our style of football and manager into one most observers now hate. And that embarrasses and saddens me.
