Personally have no problem with Cortese's ambition and Pochettino doesn't sound a bad option except the language barrier, which is not insurmountable. But the manner in which Cortese sacked Adkins, and probably played with his head these last weeks when he must have known something was up, was pretty low. And it turns us from a club which was gaining a lot of popularity regarding our style of football and manager into one most observers now hate. And that embarrasses and saddens me.
