The Board aren't bothered....MP was Cortese's choice and this now removes the last little piece of his era. There are some amazing candidates available and none of them would have been that interested when Cortese removed Adkins. Onwards and upwards!!!

Not sure about Yakin. Agree he could be looking for a stepping stone but looking at what he has already achieved he appears far better suited to a bigger job now, probably more so than MP? We need some stability..... I would be happy with an appointment like Moyes. Also can't help thinking how we had done under Adkins last season. Enjoyed every minute of last season and style of football but with hindsight all appears a bit shallow now

I am a season ticket holder and I think, a true Saints supporter. I don't think you have to be a season ticket holder to be classed as a true supporter and I have had seasons where I have also bought tickets on a match by match basis. I agree that we have had our best season and I am certainly not moaning about that. However this year I will probably choose not to part with my money so early in the year as it is my view that we are being asked to do so without knowing how much is going to change next year. I think I have as much right to do so as the players and manager do to consider their own circumstances and I do not fear missing many matches next season if we couldn't completely fill our ground every match in what we all agree was our best season.

I think it is tactical. I am definitely in two minds whether to renew. Really think this is a poor way to treat the fans. We are expected to commit as always when all the outstanding issues are being stalled. Don't think I will have a problem buying on a match by match basis if I don't renew bearing in mind the number of games sold out last season.

If there are rumours also about Suarez leaving Liverpool for Madrid or Barca, if you were Lallana would you commit yourself before knowing for sure? I think I would wait and see. Take Suarez and thirty odd goals out of the equation and they are a pretty average team.

If we agree to sell Rickie for at least £8m how will this look to all the other clubs eyeing up Luke, Adam, Morgan or any other of our important players? We have publicly stated that none of our star players are available and if we change our stance it will make this statement look stupid and invite crazy bids from the likes of Moyes, mourinho and wenger. Rickie deserves to see out his career at SFC and then should be appointed on the coaching staff bringing through our young strikers from the academy. And if West Ham have got £8m to burn it would be better spent now sacking Big Sam and replacing him with someone who can attract the sort of players their fans want.
