Could someone explain to me why there demise is 'imminent'? If it was any other club, yes, but it is Pompey we are talking about. Surely in an attempt to avoid liquidation Chanrai will become a reluctant owner yet again. Then it will be a matter of whether or not they will get their CVA. In a sane world, this is highly unlikely, but these creditors will have guns pointing at them from all directions when it comes to voting 'yes' or 'no'. Now on referees.... it was a pleasure to turn up at a local football club to fulfil my refereeing appointments only to see a game on before hand that was being refereed by an unnamed Saints fan wearing Saints shirt and all! Got to say the effort was there and it was a great performance, but I would advise not getting into a verbal argument with your assistant referee and letting the game get to a stage where the coach has to come on the field to restrain one of his own players!!!
