I did the stadium tour recently and was told the undersoil heating is in place but has never been used. Only 2 games at SMS have been postponed. One because of a waterlogged pitch after a deluge just before ko, and one because outside the stadium was icy and dangerous. I'm planning to come from Shropshire unless trains aren't running. More or less opposite the away end is*Bescot Railway Station, which also offers pay and display car parking for £2.
