But we don't really expect to win home games at the moment. Since the beginning of Feb, our away record is great: W5 D3 L2. But the home record over the same period is the problem: W2 D4 L4. Where I was standing the cheering outweighed the booing easily, but there were plenty keeping silent. Much as I'm angry with the way he's behaved, the point of keeping him is to have him play, and play well. Booing won't help, and I didn't. If he plays well next week, I'll cheer him too. Found it very difficult to understand the preview video of the away game in 2012. There was someone who I think was called Lamb Bert or something who was making contact with the ball with his feet or head and directing it into that net thing. Can't remember Saints ever doing that. Have been to Gambia. Quite cheap, guaranteed sun, outside the resorts very basic - it's a third world country. But if you want a mixture of sun/relaxation and interesting days out (use Arch Tours, easily the best) eg into Senegal, it's interesting. I know people who go back again and again, but I probably won't. You will encounter an unusual brand of sex tourism. There are many young men out there who service older visiting women. Also be prepared for plenty of hassle on the streets, mainly offering guide services, in practice touting for a shop or restaurant. If you do go, take a supply of basic educational materials - pens, pencils. They're desperately short and all donations are welcome. A supply of sweets to throw to the hoards of kids who will chase your vehicle is also a good idea. But don't be totally put off: it's an experience.
