  1. (In reply to suggestion that if we agree to sell, he can choose where he goes - sorry, lost quote) No. He doesn't have a buy-out clause, so we're not obliged to accept any offer, no matter how big, unless we want to, and want to sell to the bidding club. There is nothing to stop us refusing £70m from the Scousers, then accepting £60m from Chelsea. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. I suspect the fine has provoked this reaction because he's panicking that, presumably, he can be fined again and again for refusing to play. He didn't expect Saints to be so firm in their resistance, and I really hope they hold firm. I want to see him squirm. And if he does go, as he has stated that the only place he wants is Liverpool, make sure it's anywhere else. I'd rather sell him to Huddersfield after we've received no acceptable offers. 3. He still isn't a position to choose anything. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. This. And as for a fine being unfair, when his behaviour is undermining the cohesion of the club, it clearly isn't. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Excellent. He's still being convinced by his agent that he can control the situation. He can't. Although, if we get a decent offer from Man C or Chelsea, don't think there's much doubt we'll take it. No sure about Liverpool though. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. A shame he didn't inform the Board and manager of his wish to move in at the time he signed a new six year contract. I have no sympathy. He's still trying to make out Saints are the bad guys when he's the one reneging on his contract. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    New Captain

Sorry to interrupt the bickering, children, but I'd probably go along with this if Davis isn't likely to play as regularly. After all, he is England U21 captain. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. I would need some pretty strong hallucinogenic substances to imagine the first and last. Hopefully the second may happen - fingers crossed. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Please p!ss off from our forum. I look forward to Coutinho leaving. Forget Van Dijk. It isn't happening. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. What a novelty. Would-be buying clubs and player behaving respectfully and doing things correctly. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  17. Sounds like the average Stoke fan understands our midfield needs like I understand theirs. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. A significant number of posters spend their time screaming for marquee signings. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. I don't think it's unique. Maybe better than others, but it's naive to think other clubs can't identify talent through traditional scouting. I'm sure that we still do a fair bit of that! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. Not all three of Redmond, Boufal, Tadic. We've seen it enough to know it doesn't work. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. This. Good post. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  23. Fair enough. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. If we permitted the meetings, would we have had the basis of a complaint for tapping-up? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  25. Isn't this a bit contradictory, or am I missing something? Graeme Kelly seems to be a social media mouthpiece for LFC, constantly insisting the deal is going through. He also says Saints have been keen on selling. If you're saying he's not far from the truth, this seems to directly contradict the official Saints position, which is no sale. But you also seem to be saying there are some positives, such as back training with the first team. I appreciate any snippets, but am confused. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
