I hope MP has a suitably curt put-down prepared. I'd suggest, "He's not relevant to the game as he is training alone until he rediscovers his commitment. He is not for sale. We have had no offers. He will not be leaving. Next question, about the match, please" Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Very droll. Thinking of Nick Pope of Burnley. [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

We'd probably do better with 11 players. I'd choose JWP as the 11th. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Pope could be a good buy, but he's a keeper. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Yes, speculation, but entirely feasible. Maybe Spurs are discovering that they are not as elite as they thought, and part of the food chain just like almost everyone. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

We know Shane's strengths: willingness to chase anything, good pressing, a threat on the break, decent crosser. If only he could put the ball in the net, just occasionally. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Excellent proposal. And, It's time we had a statue and/or a stand named after him. Quite simply, he saved Saints and laid the foundation for what we have today - a successful PL team with a superb Academy and a structure that is the model many aspire to, but few achieve. We will forever be grateful. Thank you Markus. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

If Gabbi shows the sharpness we saw before his injury he's capable of 20+. Charlie should manage a few if he can stay fit and get enough chances, since I think he's behind Gabbi in the pecking order and the two striker experiment doesn't work. I'm not holding my breath over the other strikers, mainly because they'll get little game time. I get some more optimism from seeing the likes of JWP and Davis maybe looking keener to get into the box. And if Lemina shores up the midfield, they should get more opportunities to go forward. That leaves Tadic, Boufal and Redmond needing to get closer to the sort of return they should be delivering, and maybe a stronger midfield will help them too. So overall, hopeful that things will get better. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Self-awareness isn't their strong suit, is it? [emoji57][emoji57] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Really, what is your problem, apart from a total inability to recognise a player's strengths? Are you going for the "new posted with an irrational hatred of a Saints player" award? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I see your point where we go in cold after a player, but in cases where other clubs are bidding, we have a baseline that would be difficult to alter just because it's us. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

It's simple (like them). They get their info from ill-informed pundits and the gutter press, and believe everything they hear from those sources. We know he didn't refuse to train, and we never accused him of it. (He conveniently forgot to say that he refused to play) now we are very sound financially. But if Talksport and the Mail say differently, they're obviously right. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Yes. I'm a fan, but as edited above, think he's got to do better than Hojbjerg this season to have a future. With regular games, albeit at a lower level, I hope he comes good. And that PEH has a brilliant season too, to give us a problem. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Harrison Reed. Don't know if that means we're prepared to let him go. Probably depends on whether he or Hojbjerg kicks on better this season. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

So he's going to become public enemy #1 in Holland. Except that they'll blame Saints for not letting him go. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I think the only way he can avoid a negative reaction from fans is to state very publicly that he has been badly advised and made mistakes. Ideally, he'd also sack his agent, but I can't see that happening. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Not sure if that still happens. I don't really know, but probably we'd talk to the player and explain he wouldn't be in the 25 and would have few opportunities, then let it be known he's available and invite the player and agent to look around. There would presumably be an agreement to cancel the contract by mutual consent in return for a free transfer. The other alternative, I suppose, would be to pay off the contract and release as a free agent, but that's unlikely. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I did say hoping, not expecting. I think the CB will only happen if VVD leaves, and I now don't think he will, and somehow he will have to get back to playing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

They have said that largely concludes our business, but I'm hoping that's a smokescreen to stop prices of players, especially CBs, going up because we're known to be in the market. I'm hoping for a decent CB, good backup keeper to challenge FF and maybe the loan (with option to buy) of a young AM that's been hinted at. With Clasie and Gardos leaving if there's interest. Of course not. Ridiculous idea. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

In his interview, Lemina mentions having talked to the manager and being impressed. (Obviously only after proper contact and agreement. [emoji6]) Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

No problem. I'm used to being ridiculed. [emoji6] And we need a few more suggestions. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
