As I suggested a few pages back, saving fresh legs for Chelsea
-
Quite exceptional joke for Phil too ?
-
I would certainly have Davis if fit. The midfield doesn't click in the same way without him. Wouldn't be surprised to see either Wanyama or Morgan kept fresh for Chelsea. We can rotate with Reed and Ward-Prowse solid options.
-
Fair enough. Just didn't see it
-
The shirts were given to lads right in front of me. I was in the 3rd row and didn't see anything or see the players react except by looking very disappointed.
-
We do have options. 1. Play Yoshida and put Toby in midfield or play the best back four. 2. JWP the one cert in midfield. Plus Davis if fit: if he isn't practically has to be Toby. If we play 4 3 3 the third would probably have to be Reed, which doesn't seem to be on RK's agenda, or Tadic playing deeper. So more likely 4 2 3 1. 3. Pelle obviously up front, plus Long and Mane /Isgrove in a 4 3 3, or the same choice plus Tadic in the 3 of a 4 2 3 1. Bench non-existent. Suggest we pray Davis recovers. And please try Seager on the bench instead of Mayuka.

No idea. Was surprised to hear that he wasn't fit for last night. We miss him badly as the player who can be effective in moving the ball forwards.
-
That's the spirit. Can you let me know what you're on or preferably get me some? Thanks.
-
Would hope with that but isn't Davis injured? In which case either Reed finally l you get gets a chance or Tadic plays deeper with either Mane or prefetably Isgrove filling the gap. Hope we don't try Bertrand on the wing again - didn't work for me. Massive game. Our 5 losses have been against successively worse teams, now we face a good team finding form. Have to be sharper, quicker to move the ball and ready to shoot on sight.

This isn't sour grapes but the ref was awful. Got so many decisions wrong in both directions and there should never have been 8 bookings. And why was he wearing Saints colours (in reverse)? Second time recently that's happened and I wonder if it's distracting/confusing? But the key point was we made no chances, had no-one to finish in any case and didn't want it as much as they did. We used to be first to most 50:50 balls. We won almost none tonight, particularly towards the end. Confidence, spark and energy have gone. Time for RK to show what he can do when the going gets tough.
-
Bertrand and Targett?
-
Yes
-
Pelle will be back Saturday
-
Settled on Kelham Island already. Beer going down nicely!
-
I appreciated everything he did for us, but we have better now. I wish him well.
-
Again.

As one who was there, not good. Confidence has gone. Seriously, they don't like playing in cold driving rain, Morgan is critical to make things happen and without him or Cork we're like a ship without a rudder. But we should still have won, like Monday. But the end of the game was the worst I've felt for a long time. There was no belief, especially after the pen miss. Bring back Ricky. This is now a real test for RK to pick the team up and get them functioning again.

Now I know I'm going to be in Guatemala on the Capital Cup final day I think we should concentrate on the league.
-
Definitely not the sort of player we would sign. And with good reason. We look forward, not backwards
-
They weren't sitters. They will were good chances.
-
Simply, we should have won. Two bits of bad defending that wouldn't have happened with Toby, three good chances missed. We were the better team, but they took the chances. And had a ref to help.
-
No idea. But obviously not from Manchester
-
Some seriously drunk arrogant Manure "fans" in town. Lots of baiting in The Standing Order. Bloke giving it large with "when we're playing no-one goes to watch the other team". Arseole.
