Amen to a contract for Jack, unless we get an upgrade -

Agree with this. If we can make loans permanent and not lose anyone we want to keep, will be fine. Jrod will be going nowhere. Just like in the summer, ridiculous speculation over a badly injured player. The club have confirmed there was never any approach for him in the summer, and Jan will be the same. Too big a risk. -
No surprise we're not putting him.on display before the window.

Can't see that Spurs is a good move for anyone.
-
2 0. How ?
-
But we're 2nd so will go straight into the group stage.

Chickens hatched count don't before.

But why, apart from money, would they want to leave what's currently the second most successful club in England with a great manager, superb training facilities and tremendous leadership, vision and organisation for the dysfunctional mess that is Spurs?
-
When the press are used so critically to undermine political figures and parties, why couldn't they also be used to hinder the progress of an unfashionable team threatening the major players?

That's just ruined my feel-good state:mad:

That may not make general sale. -
I can identify with that. Daughter #1 lived a long time in Scouseland and did take an interest in the local red team, but is fast converting. #2 still loyal to Hull, which I can respect. But their boyfriends (one soon to be son-in-law) are Man U and Arsenal and I revel in their discomfort. They are seriously worried that their beloved "big" teams may not actually be as good as Saints this season.

Human? That's an illusion shattered.

Don't think he fancied the internationals -
That would be it Don't think he played though?

As we've gone through the divisions, at each stage Jose seems to have been thought of as "good at this level, but we'll have to replace when we move up ". How wrong was that? He's now proved himself at every level and is a great leader too. As the Scousers are finding, Loveren ain't so good without him. For me, he's one of the first names every week. And I read somewhere that he's close to a Portugal callup. My favourite Jose moment? Has to be his goal at Brighton. ☺

I liked Phil Thompson on the Sky website: Southampton are the new Liverpool. They can still win when playing below par.

Think it's 2. One for getting a red for 2 yellows and one for the totting up

Just think back to Villa at home last year. Or League 1, Bristol City, we were top and unbeaten at home at year, they were bottom......

It won't be easy, and after a week with the distraction of Staplewood will be a real test of preparation. We need to do a professional job and I'll be happy with a narrow win.

One of my early games at The Dell. A nightmare never to be repeated, PLEASE!

6 is very generous. 3.5, poor effort, must try harder. See me. (sorry, ex teacher coming out) -
I really, really wish you would drop this. It is very offensive on a day when we are celebrating the dedication of a fantastic resource in the name of, yes, our saviour. Yes, no-one knows where the club would be today without Markus, but it is incredibly unlikely that it would be the success it is now. I unashamedly give my undying thanks to the Liebherr family.

Sheffield Centre Travelodge double, £28 -
I've heard much worse! But of course it will become La la la la la la la la Graziano Southampton's goal machine!
