Their comment is that because commentators and 80% of the media were on their side, they must be right.
Very dangerous attitude if you start to believe what your friends in the media say. would they produce MOTD footage as evidence? What a precedent that would be.
Could this mean any red card judged to be a mistake on MOTD should be overturned?
The whole idea is just ridiculous.
The problem is VW does need game time as we need him to get back to match fitness. In tough games he has shown how important he is and we need that option.
He may start, as against Fulham where I think the plan was to keep it tight to start with then have Cork in reserve to bring more attacking potential if we needed a goal. However, at home I would hope to see things reversed and for us to play our most creative and attacking combination from the start, hopefully get a lead then give VW time at the end when he can (should) give us the solidity to see the game out in place of Cork or Morgan.
Either way, I'm sure he'll get at least half a game.
I don't think he ever had the right attitude or commitment to Saints. He was lukewarm about joining us in the first place and I always felt (IMO, of course) that he considered himself slightly above playing for Saints.
Yes, he undoubtedly has ability, but I don't think he was ever going to fit in with our standards of training and fitness and style of play, and for that reason, I'm glad to see him go, and hope the move is made permanent. Young Sam will eventually deliver far more.
Agree totally. Always gave 100% effort, was really important in the promotion year and has been adequate cover in the Prem. He just can't match the very high standards we now have. He will be a good buy for Forest.
Thanks, Danny and good luck.
If we sit back and defend, we'll get ripped a new one. And it's not our style.

A stand, yes - mine please, the Liebherr Kingsland Stand - but not the stadium. St Mary's recognises the location and the heritage and roots of the club.
