I once played against him whilst on a work exchange visit to Renault in Viry, France. He's terrible and bottled out of every challenge. I say work exchange, it was more like work experience. Quick question for Xbox live users; what sort of minimum download speed can you get away with to use live? I've never entertained the idea before as my connection has always hovered between 600 and 800 kbps but I now get a whopping 1.5Mbps, thanks to a bit of work from BT. It's the most I'm going to see for a couple of years at least, until it all goes fibre optic round here, but is it enough to get online with?

A few more listens in and I really, really like it now. I disagree with Ginger's comment that "it's like nothing we've ever done" because it's almost a snapshot of everthing they've ever done. My only complaint is that it's too damn short.

Before anyone asks... I've no idea... but it seems absurd. There's obviously some evidence of it though but if it's just NP talking then that's not conclusive IMO.

"Genius", now there's a misnomer for that application if ever I've heard one. Now, whenever I open the iTunes store they recommend a list of songs for me to buy which always includes at least 6 or 7 already on my iPhone. Brilliant.

I believe he'll sit out the season now, Pancake. There's very little chance he'll recover 100% by November anyway. Fisi's made a bold move there, IMO. The Force India finally looks competitive and seems to suit his style; he's finally looking like a competent driver after being outshone for the last 4 years (even by Heikki at Renault) and he stood a 50/50 chance of retaining the drive for next year. I'd imagine Ferrari are paying him far more than FI did though (£180k for the year) so he'll probably make more in the next 5 races than 2009/2010 combined at FI. Still, it looks like he's setting himself up to fail a little. He will probably get spanked by Raikkonen and once again be the obvious 2nd rate driver in the team.

I didn't download SLMS but I listed to the stream (assuming it would be on the album - perhaps I should read more closely) and thought it was great, in a lol way ("f***ing, crazy b***ard" and monkey noises should be included in every song IMO) and will be downloading it tonight. Where have you ordered the Japanese release from, out of interest?

The Wildhearts - Chutzpah! Can't decide yet.. I mean, it's less eye-widening than "Endless Nameless" and less poptastic than "....Must Be Destroyed", but it's lacking something. It's not as hard as "The Wildhearts", not as R'N'R as "P.H.U.Q", "Riff After Riff" and "Earth Vs..." but it's not innovative either. Some of the songs are great, some are too formulaic and some just sound like covers of any American rock band's B-sides. I'm sure it'll grow on me more as I play it relentlessly on the iPod. PS. I'm aware that this review was really only informative to Pancake.
