Absolutely! We might be outraged at the injustice of it all but it should be expected to happen. If I was a Ghanaian I'd be more annoyed at the shocking pen which followed.

It will be a one game ban, as dictated by the laws by which the game is played. And, Chris, almost every player would have done the same. I think I'd be disappointed if a ball went past a Saints player in the same situation.

I don't think the rules should be changed just because of today's game. If a Saints player made that same instinctive "save", and the opponents missed the pen, we'd all claim that the sacrifice of the red card was worth it.

Your team would not even have done as well as Capello's. Maybe the pride would have lifted them more than the actual team's seemed to, but they would have been let down on talent. I think they would have been destroyed down the flanks.
