  1. For "will" read "may or may not really".
  2. Pretty fair, if slightly over-egged, point, IMO. But then I guess it's all a matter of perspective, Baj.
  3. I'm pretty sure his family would start to miss him before the 2 years were up.
  4. You must've missed Pompey's 2009/2010 season then, mate. I notice the England keeper was there for most of it.
  5. Seriously, lol.
  6. "...flew off in the direction of 'space'..." FPML
  7. Sorry, SiP. The notification is so obscure now that I genuinely missed the fact I had any PMs. Yours wasn't the only one, lol. Answered now, anyway!
  8. Good for them. That's proper dedication. You only get that from Socialists.
  9. I ony put it on cos Ron said there would be an upset. I'm going to up his subscription fee to cover it.
  10. I'm upset, I have a tenner on Chile.
  11. Cesar has got the biggest shorts in the tournament.
  12. You make a great argument there, Alps. A great argument. I may have been wrong after all. That was sarcasm, btw. It's different to satire, although there was arguably a little sneering involved. And that wasn't pomposity, it was arrogance. It's a terrible sin but I tend to slip towards arrogance in the face of apparent idiocy. Perhaps I shouldn't be sarcastic, as a "Mod", but then I've probably been one for too long now anyway. Having to bite one's tongue gets depressing after a while.
  13. There is a PM system here.
  14. Well, far be it for me to defend Dune but I reckon your daughter is exactly the sort of person he'd think should receive benefits, whereas the "slobs" he refers to would include the guy I used to live next door to. He was claiming IB for back problems (had a mobility car and everything) and I caught him, one day, hanging from a drainpipe, one foot on the garage roof, adjusting his guttering. He then leapt about 8ft to the ground, landing perfectly and walking away. I was gobsmacked.
  15. Without wishing to snowball this disagreement, I have to say that the two scenarios are so far divided that I think it's insulting to compare them. That's just my opinion, you are entitled to yours and WS is entitled to his. I just happen to agree with his, in this instance.
  16. They told you that? They told me that they'd offer the same price even if it didn't work (I had tried to push them up a bit cos mine is in as new condition). Apparently, they don't reuse the phone, they just scavenge the precious metals, etc. I did know that there is more gold in a tonne of mobile phones than in a tonne of gold ore though, so I believed them.
  17. This is what I use and it's been confirmed to me, by O2, that they will not be able to put a limit on the data, unless you drop the data bolt on and then pick it up again in the future. As there's no lifespan on the contract this is perfect.
  18. If I were you, DBP, I'd think carefully about getting involved with any girl who you were able to steal because there'll always be someone better out there to steal her off you.
  19. Yours wasn't any better, Alps.
  20. Isn't it a bit sexist to ask a women's football team to "man up"?

    iOS 4

My 3G updated with no problems either. I think OS4 might be a little RAM hungry for the 3G but it seems that when you've done everything once it sorts itself out. It's good enough to make me hesitate about purchasing an iPhone 4, too. I had a play with the new one in the O2 shop last week and loved it but the 3G still does everything I ask of it.
  22. I dunno where they dreamt up a five second penalty from but I'm not complaining.
  23. O2 offered me £185 for a black 16Gb 3G yesterday, if I bought a 4G from them.
  24. Ricky Villa.
