    New Kit...

    Nice that.
  2. Never go back.
  3. I had to re-read that a dozen times before I twigged that you weren't asking her to teach you how to buy stuff from Asia.

    Moles

We get them in our borders but not on the lawn. There appears to be a thick, yet porous, membrane about 6 inches down which must put them off. Not very practical to start ripping up the lawn though. As for getting rid of them, nothing sold as 'humane' seems to work, sorry.
  5. As long as she doesn't think you're cheap, Baj.
  6. If we polled the more pressing questions then it might give them an indication but it's hardly fair to send someone from the site to speak to the club unless the majority on the poll was 100% on one side. There's something intrinsically wrong with using the website as a force if not every single contributor is behind a standpoint.
  7. If the club want to know the general feeling of the fans on here they can log on and have a look for themselves. And, Stu, keep making threats against other users and you'll find yourself with a lot more time to not give a sh** about the new kit and the suchlike. Cheers.
  8. Don't worry, it won't be here long. It's off to Muppets as soon as the programme on Ch4+1 has finished.
  9. Try the scrotum.
  10. Seen the Arts forum lately?
  11. I know what I like and I know what I do and I think diesels still have a long way to go before they become as good as their petrol cousins. That's not to say they won't get there and I don't doubt the possibility that diesel will one day make its way into the ultimate motorsport but, for now, I'm going to continue to look down on them in "sports" cars. They're perfectly acceptable in repmobiles, economy is their forté and no one expects excitement from a repmobile, but there is only one reason anyone would buy a car such as the R8 in the diesel version and that's to try and disguise their unenvironmental nature.
  12. Wilts struggles to express himself with or without swearing, tbh.
  13. Faster at the the ultimate end of the range, maybe. Do you think that's why that bird is driving it down the street though? No. The rich will buy the diesel because it says, "Hey, I'm rich and like to go fast but I also care about the environment." It's all bull****. If diesels are so great why aren't F1 cars kitted out with them? The biggest advantage is fuel economy (which is minimal at those specs anyway) and is why the Le Mans cars use them over their 24hr races. Besides, who wants to change gear at 4000rpm. Sorry, you may have some very salient points to support the use of diesel engines but I'll never change my viewpoint. They are dirty, smoky and noisy. Even today's relatively silent ones are poor in those respects when compared to modern petrols.
  14. He's right though. Stewart does have an over-inflated sense of self-worth. Oh, and give the insults a rest, you haven't got the infraction points to spare.
  15. Not cool. What makes a tractor-engined version cool when there are perfectly good V8 and V10 petrols available? Who, that can afford to buy a $100,000 car, needs the frugality of a diesel? It's ****ing rubbish.
  16. To add; anyone who sings at the TV is a c**t.
  17. Maybe he's more conscious that a lot of footy fans are c**ts.
  18. Despite the fact that he said on camera, several times, that he knew f-all and had contributed nothing whatsoever? I hate to defend him but fair's fair.
  19. No way should a thread about Big Brother be in The Arts. No way. Where would you prefer it moved to? The Muppet Show or the recycle bin?
  20. No such thing as a cool diesel, regardless of the specs.
  21. Agreed, that's why I'd go for it. It's an in-line 6 cylinder petrol, but you knew that, you were talking about PB's brother's car.
  22. I was just going by the last post I read before I replied. I'm now going to withdraw graciously and gracefully from this thread.
  23. That's nice looking soil.
  24. I'll probably be down the Arrow if anyone fancies buying me a pint.
  25. Just to interject a second, it's not free to carry a member of staff in a seat that would have otherwise been empty. Unless, of course, you know of an engine which can move a volume at the same velocity, with the same use of energy, regardless of mass. It might be a small amount, relatively speaking, but hundreds of non-paying passengers would soon rack up considerable cost.
