Why do people look back so fondly on old games? By modern standards they were terrible.
-
It only bothers me for about 10 minutes, if we lose, then I get back to worrying about the important stuff. It's better winning, if only because it's a nicer experience to talk about afterwards, but I don't live or die by football, or any other sport for that matter, It's a distraction from real life and, yes, it's a more enjoyable one when we're performing but that's all it is, a distraction.

Good for Sauber. :smt023
-
It doesn't really work like that.
-
Oh come on, Will. That was good and you know it.
-
Sorry to hear that, Will. You'll know when it's time, I reckon.

Tiger, earning his money. Kudos.

Power trip? Grow up. It is in the forum rules. We try and make this place a nice environment for users to read and post in. That's pretty much all I care about. I don't want to receive PM after PM, telling me who's been nasty to whom, it's boring. If you think that me asking you not to be a nasty bastard is infringing your rights in some way then I'd suggest you've joined the wrong forum.
-
There is; I'm asking you not to. I will ask 19C to keep any comments about golf non-personal too. Then it's all fair.
-
That's at Williams' factory in Grove.
-
He's allowed to have an opinion about golf, Will. I have one too.
-
You claimed you didn't mind last night. In fact, you were encouraging people to "Bring it on". Or is it a case of, "It's alright for anyone to have a go at me, except 19C."? Cos that won't work.
-
How soon we forget.... I posted about 3 times last night requesting people to lay off you but you yourself said no, it's fine.
-
Read the forum rules, Will. You signed them when you joined. Personal attacks and abuse are not acceptable. Yes, TMS is more relaxed, but the forum header clearly says that "a lot of the forum rules do not apply here". Being a truly nasty bastard to another user is one that does.
-
That doesn't go down too well in some quarters, Deppo.
-
You've been asked and told, countless times, not to make personal remarks of that nature. I, for one, won't ask again. Your choice.
-
Will. Can you, for once, try not to sully a reasonably thoughtful and well-constructed retort with personal insults? You'll find that not only do people get off your back a bit but that the rest of the post would not be so quickly dismissed. I will edit the personal remarks out in this instance. Next time I won't bother. Cheers Ponty

I was listening to Greatest Hits - Vol 1 earlier today. They are a guilty pleasure.

I might be that one person! I bought very few albums released this year as it happens. According to iTunes, the only ones which have an official release year of 2009 are: Wildhearts - Chutzpah! Sorry and the Sinatras - Highball Roller Black Spiders - Cinco Hombres (Diez Cojones) Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown So those 4 are my top 10.

No, Dave Richards, as in the owner of Prodrive and Aston Martin, the former Team Principal at BAR-Honda and former Team Principal at Benetton F1 (now Renault F1).
-
Just the latest output from the random news generator as far as I'm aware. In the last week we've been bought by a Russian who owns a driver agency, sponsored for $30m by Panasonic - if we hire Kobayashi and now this. Edit: Those links are reasonably out of date already, especially the last one. There was a press release a few days ago about the new structure at the top of the team. PS. I didn't see Dave Richards at the factory today. Of course, it might be true.

I'm sure he'll work with more dignity than the rest of the muppets down there. Oh, and blame the fans a lot.
-
Righto. Carry on people but let's keep it to this thread, eh? It won't go down as well on the main board
