  1. And it turns out he visited Barnard Castle whilst up in Durham.
  2. Obviously should be a s on Cummings!
  3. From what I’ve read it seems the wife had symptoms so they suspected Cumming would as well so they dropped the kid off in case they couldn’t look after them. If that’s the case they would have suspected that the kid would also have the virus and were happy to put their relatives at risk. If everyone acted that way when they caught the virus it would spread much quicker.
  4. Do you have link to the report?
  5. We do the same with my parents but didn't when the other half had symptoms and we were self isolating. If we thought we had the infection the last thing we would have done is contact our parents, or try and offload our probably infected kid onto someone else.
  6. My post said "If a treatment could be found that stopped people getting seriously ill". Not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?
  7. Corbyn wouldn’t have won whatever stance they had on Brexit. The policy ended up a shambles but It was always a no win situation for Labour given the natural position of the party and the Brexit stance of much of their heartlands. Especially after Corbyn frustrating the whole process in Parliament.
  8. That would obviously depend on the how the treatment works and how easily available it is.
  9. This looks promising: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52754280 If a treatment can be found that stops anyone getting seriously ill then surely we can go back to normal without the need for a vaccine? Just let it spread like the common cold and crack on as usual.
  10. I expect if he’s a socialist he favours the increased taxation option. As long as he pays his fair share of tax I don’t see the issue because he will probably more than pay for his gardener’s wages.
  11. It doesn’t benefit him, it benefits his gardener, I doubt he is a millionaire.
  12. The Furlough scheme is state handouts though, a socialist should be in favour of it.
  13. It will be abused by rich businesses up and down the country, one comedian using it for their staff is not really worth p!ssing your pants over.
  14. But the furlough scheme is state handouts to help people stay in work for the good of society - surely something a socialist would agree with?
  15. There will be millionaire owners of companies up and down the country using the scheme, not sure what your point is?
  16. South Korea do seem to be on top of this, some good news from them: https://www.sciencenews.org/article/coronavirus-covid19-reinfection-immune-response
  17. Thought White Lines started well but ended up being total sh!te. It’s well produced and there are some good moments but it ends up meandering between being incredibly dull and ridiculously far fetched. Girl goes to Ibiza to investigate her brothers murder yet spends the whole time taking drugs and ****ging, doing next to no detective work whatsoever. It doesn’t matter though because even though the murder happened 20 years ago all the main suspects are still there, still in touch with each other and invite her to dinner. Even then she can’t be arsed to do any investigating because she’s too busy ****ging. It’s all ok though because it turns out ****ging and taking drugs in a hot country is fun so she’s ‘finding herself’ which we’re supposed to give a **** about, but you don’t. You end up not caring who did it, who lives or dies and you just want it to end.
  18. If enough players don’t want to take the risk it obviously won’t go ahead but Watford and The Premier League can crack on fine without one or two players. Deeney is right not to risk his kid, he would be better off staying away from either football or his kid for a month IMO.
  19. Thought it was a Democratic hoax?
  20. I had those symptoms back in March along with at least five other people I know. Luckily I googled it as well as was careful around my parents. I expect a fair few lives would have been saved if our government wasn’t so ****ing slow at reacting.
  21. I see our government have finally added loss of taste and smell to the symptoms for Covid 19, typically a few weeks to a month behind everyone else.
  22. Looks like you don’t, see above.
  23. Surely it makes sense to social distance and wear PPE when you can? It’s not rocket science.
  24. That’s why their sport is starting a month earlier.
  25. PPG is a bit too crude, plus if a team has an easy run in it will obviously have already played it's tougher fixtures so it would be a bad gauge. Statisticians are never right when it comes to football but some sort of PPG but weighted to take into account the opposition and wether it is home or away should be pretty simple to work out and give a better outcome.
