  1. At least him and Lallana wont have to wait long because England are sh!te.
  2. ****ing ****s
  3. If Lambert had thrown his toys out of the pram I would have thought he was a ***t as well.
  4. Saints need to dig their heels in on this or they will risk setting a precedent.
  5. I dunno, I reckon this new TV deal will see silly money being thrown around.
  6. I don't think any of us are in a position to judge re: phone calls. Maybe Lallana has been pestering the board and they are fed up with saying no.
  7. This if we cave in to one player it will set a precedent. I would tell Lallana and Shaw to forget about any move. We would be better off having them sulking in the reserves than having half our squad thinking they can just ship whenever they fancy it. The Suarez situation proves that you can stand firm and after a bit of initial sulking it won't effect their performances.
  8. What's wrong with being bitter? I don't hate the bloke but will laugh like a drain when he inevitably gets sacked next February at the latest.
  9. I don't remember ever seeing a single post that says they want "anyone-but-cortese", not one. I think you are just being a d!ck.
  10. I expect the reason the players are being kept n the dark is because they wont like what they would be told ie: what Cortese promised - aint gonna happen because there is not enough cash.
  11. Spurs and Liverpool are always going to be a step up the ladder, I'm not sure there is anything that could have been said by anyone to stop them leaving. Even if Cortese was still here with a cunning plan I doubt the outcome would be any different.
  12. Cortese chose to **** off and leave us, just like our manager and players are. It's pointless banging on about him.
  13. The problem we will have if Lallana and Shaw go as well is that some of the players that are left will be looking to leave. Players like Lovren and Wanyama were probably signed under false promises by Cortese so it's a choice between flogging them too or having demotivated players amongst the team. There is no denying it, we are potentially facing meltdown. We need the board to act swiftly, appoint a good manager and either make some top signings or make it clear there will be no more sales.
  14. I'm guessing it wasn't just the fire but had something to do with the fact that half of WTC2 was stuffed into the side of it.
  15. **** me, that makes the Saints board look like a bunch of gullible amateurs.
  16. Not even excited about watching England now Lamberts gone. Lallana and Shaw obviously want to leave as well so were as good as seeing no Saints players out there tonight.
  17. When big events like this happen there is always incorrect reports, I remember the first reports on the radio it was a light aircraft hit the towers. It's a mad scramble to get the news out before anyone else so "WTC about to collapse any minute" turned into "WTC has collapsed". It's not hard to understand how it happens. I remember them talking about this building looking like it was going to fall on the day. Maybe the New York fire brigade and the BBC are all in on this big plot you are on about as well?
  18. I think if we lose Lallana we will be ****ed. Guaranteed relegation battle next year if he goes IMO.
  19. Exactly, the board of SFC should act in the interests of SFC. Not pander to some player who wants to play for an opposing side. ****ing pussies the lot of em.
  20. Cortese would have happily denied him his dream move - that's the difference. We are not a ****ing charity.
  21. Looks like we do have a bunch of pussies running the club now. It's bad enough flogging one of our best players to Liverpool for £4mill but they couldn't even be arsed to give Saints fans the pleasure of watching their favourite player at the World Cup. ****ing spineless tossers
  22. Maybe he wanted the doors opening?
  23. Worth a punt. If our board are doing stupid **** like selling Lambert for £4mill it smacks of them falling into that classic mid-table security trap - Think you have made it so can **** about with the side and everything will be OK when, fact is, in the PL for a club like Saints it is such a fine line between success and failure. A few dodgy buys and bad choice of manager and it's curtains.
  24. What are the odds on us getting relegated, must be worth a shout.
  25. Twitter is full of wind ups and fake accounts.
