Where do we strengthen to take us to the 'next level'?
aintforever replied to Daft Kerplunk's topic in The Saints
I would replace Davies, Hooveld and Guly with 3 top players. Maybe get quality cover for Shaw unless Targett is ready. -
Just had a quick on there, **** me what a bunch of weirdos. You need help if you take that site seriously. A typical post; Shapeshifting reptilian police officer caught on camera Lee gets pulled over by Mersyside Police BUT he not dealing with a normal Police Officer as I found out whilest editing this footage. In fact he is dealing with an evil, obnoxious, shapeshifting reptilian, dressed as a Police Woman. If you were ever in doubt about the existence of these creatures, then this video will prove without any doubt that they do exist! They Live! For those who think this has been faked, here's the original footage Lee Stopped by officers on 26th February at 9 45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLHXrM...

I don't think having a the flight simulator means anything in this case to be honest, unless he was using it to practice stealing the plane and landing somewhere or flying into buildings etc.
-
Only because I wipe the floor with your pathetic conspiracies every time. Lee Rigby, the Boston bombings, 9/11 - I have make you look a complete fool every time. That's not hard though you do a fine job all by yourself. "Where's the blood, where's the blood!" "Look at the hands!"

Pap applying common sense! If the reports of him being a strong supporter of that person who was jailed it was as much a political protest as a suicide. Maybe he just lost it and thought he would fly off somewhere to get the world's attention to his cause, if that was his aim he has succeeded. It's a weird set of events, the pilot going nuts is certainly one of the more plausible theories.
-
With all due respect Pap, you are not best placed to judge who is and who is not a deranged fantasist.
-
Agree, it's the most likely explanation. Fits all the evidence. The only thing that could contradict this theory was if the comms that were turned off late on couldn't be done from the cockpit. If this did happen it would have been terrifying for the people on board, would have been completely helpless.

It is a disgrace, the biggest shocker is that huge rotting lump of land that sticks out behind the Thai restaurant next to Town Quay. Then you have the area between the Itchen Bridge and St Mary's - why have a council tip there FFS? Ocean village has been completely ****ed. Woolston is being redeveloped but the city centre needs a waterside focal point. The ironic thing is the council have been banging on about trying to get a "wow" factor when all the time it's been staring them in the face, the magnificent ships that come in and out every day are Southampton's wow factor. it's our biggest USP by a mile.

Think Chelsea and Man City are a better example of what money can buy.
-
To be fair, money gets you the right chairman and manager. The only reason Cortese, Pardew, Adkins or Poch were anywhere near SFC is Leibherr's millions.

Would be great if he played for England, him and Gerrard would be a great partnership in a 4-2-3-1. Couldn't give a sh!te if he was English or not, the national side need all the help they can get.

Looks more and more like the pilot lost the plot and just slammed it into the sea somewhere. Could it be that the security measures brought in after 9/11 (making cockpits more secure) made it easier for him to do this? Probably waited for his copilot to go and have a waz then locked the door.
-
Maybe it was a joint false flag operation by the US and Israeli secret services? They could have used the same plane flying robots as in 9/11 and tried to pin it on the two Iranians in the hope of dragging China into the war on terror so they can invade Syria. It all adds up now.
-
I don't think he will go, much better off in the first team with us than sat on his arse in Chelsea reserves.

What's so great about the quality of life? I did like Sweden when I visited but surely any plus points get wiped out by the fact that it is usually b*ll*ck freezing cold?

Easily the best place to live in the UK.

She was asked to do a visual representation of her local football club using the medium of dive.

Great news, looks a quality appointment.

Some interesting insight into what could have caused it on http://www.pprune.org (professional pilots rumour network) whee there's a thread looks set to rival the great pompey takeover one. This poster seems to know his sh!t: "CNN have totally bought into the new theory that the plane was tracked on radar into the Straits of Malacca and that it was last radar-fixed at some as yet undisclosed location roughly 100-200 miles northwest of KL. This certainly points to one of two scenarios being more likely than others: 1. The pilot, having lost much of his guidance, was attempting to make a visual return to KL. One must then ask if moonset and local weather (something we left behind when it was assumed that the search would be much further north) played any role. METARS for relevant stations might be useful now. 2. Hostile elements, either terrorists or misguided pilot(s) were in control of the aircraft and the postulated track would suggest a terror attack planned at KL which after all has some of world's tallest buildings. One might then ask why anyone would plan such a thing especially at night (it would be approximately 0330h to 0400h local time if any terrorists managed to execute such a plan. As either of these seem somewhat difficult to believe, we might then consider a third option, terrorist hi-jack with known landing point in Sumatra, explaining the low-altitude flight path in an attempt to evade primary radar. This even keeps alive the possibility that this plan has been successfully executed but in which case, why no announcement or demands? Most likely outcome, but not by much, is that crippled aircraft made desperate but ultimately unsuccessful attempt to return to KL and that evidence of this will eventually be found."

That looks like a fake, there's planes vanishing and popping up all over the place. Here's what flightradar24 has now http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/9m-mro

Some expert on Radio 5 alluded to the Malaysian and US authorities knowing more than they are letting on. Searching in a completely different area to where it was supposed to crash or something. Very strange, planes don't just disappear. It is weird searching the Malacca Strait when it seems to have gone off the radar heading out the opposite way, I suppose one scenario could it was hijacked and shot down by the Malasians or US to avoid another 9/11 then covered up to avoid any issues with China.

I think Ukraine deposed its president by taking a vote in their parliament after he was having demonstrators shot.

Andrew Mitchell got hammered by the police for calling them plebs, the idea that politicians can freely go around doing what they want regardless of the law is nonsense. There is always people in the police, the media and the establishment out to get them whoever they are. If you are famous you are a target, politicians especially. People will always abuse power, you will always get low life in high places but the idea that this is the tip of some massive idceberg is far fetched IMO.
-
I disagree, whilst people obviously abuse their power I think being high-profile makes getting caught more likely. There have been plenty of famous people dragged through the courts recently for historical offences that would never have seen the light of day if it wasn't for their fame.
